Our exciting weekend adventure at Diamond Cavern RV Resort, the only Thousand Trails campground in the heart of Kentucky, ended up with more highlights than we anticipated. We'll tour you around this campground & show you the site we lucked out with, which is in our opinion, the best site Diamond Caverns offered. That is, if you appreciate a little tree coverage instead of just a gravel lot.
Nestled in the picturesque Kentucky landscape, Diamond Caverns RV Resort offers a mix of tree-accessorized sites and gravel sites, although not always the easiest spots to get level, making it a perfect destination for RV enthusiasts. We'll show you the best sites to choose, especially if you're looking for that perfect balance between shade and comfort.
The highlight of our visit was the amazing bike trail that takes you on a scenic journey to the world-famous Mammoth Cave. It's an experience many bike riders will enjoy! The sound of gravel under the tires, surrounded by the beauty of nature, will give you reason enough to have plenty to enjoy during your stay at Diamond Caverns.
