Agree it’s hard to drive a 45’ Motorhome in the winds, but we’ve been wintering there for years (beats FL!). You might enjoy Leisure World in Weslaco. Some great restaurants nearby & wonderful, friendly people. Thank you for your review! Safe travels.

Was that a Jackalope at the beginning? 😜 All those parrots reminded us of seeing the swarms of bats under the Congress St bridge in Austin. Crazy!

Please add another category to your review list to include the road conditions inside the campgrounds. We have the free TT membership from purchasing a new RV. Our first stay with Thousand Trails was at Lake Whitney, TX. The roads in this campground are horrible. This campground has been so neglected it really is making us reconsider whether or not to continue with TT. We enjoy seeing your reviews and would like to hear more about the road and tree conditions in your category reviews.

Thank you for your input and for watching! I would 100% agree about Lake Whitney. The roads there were terrible! And so were the trees! That park has a lot of potential but really needs some TLC. I honestly felt bad for the staff there because when we were there, they only had 3 staff members handling the whole place. They were stressed and overworked. They said they just couldn't find anyone to work and people kept quitting. I'm not sure if we will do more reviews or not? They take a long time to film and put together and I was spending so much time on them that it was taking away from our experience. But maybe I will start them up again! I appreciate your idea and it really is a problem at some parks.
