Yes there are high capacity magazines. Any mag that holds more than standard capacity is high capacity. For example... AR Standard Capacity = 30, High Capacity would be anything beyond that... Like the Surefire 90 round or a Drum Mag.
@@IhateRU-vid yeah and technically standard capacity for an AR is 20 bc that was the original magazine issued when the gun first came out but yeah high capacity is anything over standard capacity. Glock 19 holds 15 so 16 would be high capacuty and the same with the example of the AR
Id say anything over 50 rounds is high capacity but why make those illegal they are far heavier and 30 round mags can be reloaded quicker and stored easier

No. Gun control is like the DMV asking you to do tests and education/training to get a driver's license which you need to drive a car safely and legally. There is more regulation on a transportation method than for a weapon.
The annoying thing is, with the way media keeps hitting on "the loophole" with gun shows, it makes an uneducated person think you can just buy a firearm like how you can buy a pack of gum at the gas station (without a background check)
Background checks don't WORK, and not to mention, it's not exactly hard to get a firearm licence. @@bindingcurve Well the problem is that their seems to be a general misconception that if you buy at a gun show you can do it without a background check. Hence the belief in the "gun show loop hole". The fact is that most sellers at gun shows have an FFL and any private sellers who are looking to sell are selling below a certain volume and likely don't have a booth. Its also important to remember that private sales are not universal across all states and the rules differ.
