Thousands of DMX fans paid their respects Saturday outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where there was a private memorial for the late rapper; CBS2's Cory James reports.
There's only one artist who reminds me alot of Dmx and that's Mystical no he doesn't rap like him or sound like him but they're both known for snapping on tracks aggressive, hollering, passionate, very detailed, and animated. But other than that nobody else reminds me of Dmx he definitely did his own thing stayed in his own lane.
I grew up listening to Dmx his music help me through some tough times. Rest in power ❌ we the fans love you always & forever a true legend fly high 😥😇🕊
Really tho. R.I.P. Earl Simmons. Bempressi Jah bless, isn't it something that he went into his coma on 4/3/21 and he also featured on a song of LL Cool J's in 1997 titled "4,3,2,1"? Coincidental? A Friend of mine that I occasionally study the bible with insists that there are NO coincidences in life. Even DMX himself quoted from scripture (book of Ecclesiastes) in his Instagram bible study saying " It's already been written" ( our story)
I was thinking about going there today I live in Delaware this man is a legend I grew up listening to his music I give my condolences to the family from afar, like that woman said it feels like you knew the man his music reached a lot of people in many ways. RIP DMX 🙏 he always spoke upon the Bible and now he lives in heaven
Maybe some of you aren’t actually from NY so you don’t understand that each boro has their own culture and Yonkers is not really thought about by the rest of us. I’m just Happy none of that thought process went into his celebration of life.
Yonkers is in the suburbs of New York City. Barclays is an arena located in the borough of Brooklyn. Biggie's funeral was at a funeral home in the borough of Manhattan. Where someone is memorialized has nothing to do with where they represent. Rest in Paradise DMX...
@@reggaelove7223 I'll leave when they ship you out to where your ancestors came from, deal? And take the Henny with you, dawg. Try not to assault any Asians on the way out, playa.
I met DMX at an airport in Dallas.. I yelled "that's my dog", and he barked at me! Told him I grew up on his music. He said thats what's up in only the way he could. RIP 🙏 LEGEND
DMX IS A LEGEND WHICH SHOWS HOW HE IMPACTED MILLIONS OF FANS, HE DID MUSIC AND MOVIES AND CLEARLY HIS TALENT AS AN MC EMBRACED PEOPLE AND BROUGHT JOY THROUGH HIS MUSICAL CONTRIBUTIONS WE WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE AND LOVE DMX. PEACE AND BIG BLESSINGS TO ALL HIS FAMILY FRIENDS AND LOVE ONES. 🙏🙏❤️💯✌👌
The best we can do is live life to the fullest. Take nothing for granted. Love each other for who we are, who we were, and who we will be. Face the inevitable truth of who we are and who we want to be. Cradle to our grave. With love and respect.
I feel sad that he is gone but I'm happy everyone came together to show their love and respect. It doesn't matter where you came from or what your background is we can all relate to this man's energy and struggles he always kept it real 100% this is why he has earned his respect from so many of us.
Everyone was like, he was the best, he was real, he this, he that, but they all let him sell shirts on the streets and handed him abusive drug's, let him be and make fun of DMX but never picked him back up. RIP DMX. Sorry for all these people who say they knew you and did nothing for you. Praise the one's who did.
In life God gives everybody a gift of choice That is a whole grown man plenty of people have talked to him till they were blue in the face again God gives everybody gift of The Choice tho.
Rest in peace to earl summons the legend dmx rest in paradise god angel I send my prayers to his family and friends during this hard and difficult time
I randomly saw him twice in Harlem back in the day. The second time my cousin just gave him dap and X greeted him like he knew him, he was a cool person. It's sad his demons got the best of him. R.I.P DMX
Good man knew him through my family car business and our restaurant in city island. Good man just had some inner demands. Any time we met he was always a gentleman and dispatch his ruff seeming persona he was a very chill guy
Slippin' got me through a break up, and Belly is still one of the best movies I know. So long man, have fun on the next adventure, we'll keep listening to your music
My mom is a 98yrd whiiite lady- she always adored DMK since she first saw him in ‘Romeo must die,’ wJet Li. He had a presence- and should have been a bigger movie star ⭐️ RIP,
