Because Hamas is not the root cause of this. Israel is the reason Hamas exists. Overthrowing Hamas would require Israel to end its occupation. If Hamas ceases to exist, the problem will not go away. This conflict did not start yesterday.

Hamas just retaliated many years of murder and abuse. Was it violent? Yes. Do I like it? No. Could they have done anything else? The distance of the Palestine march route, from Marble Arch 🏢 to 10 Downing Street 🏨 is 2.2 miles. There were still people joining the start of the procession when the march got to Downing street. 😲 That's a solid block of people stretching 2.2 miles! And you're telling me that's only 100,000 people. Good thing you don't need a maths degree to become a journalist 🤣. Am I crazy or have I missed anything?!
