This one I recorded in the middle of the summer, and I went to a nearby nature preserve in the middle of the woods around 10 or 11pm when the insects were really singing their hearts out on a warm night. This brings back great memories of tent camping with my parents in the woods in Mississippi or in the Ozarks. If you can ever get a good recording with night insects with a whippoorwill in it, that would be a complete Memory Trip!

Yes exactly the same as I hear every summer here in Georgia right off my back yard deck the crickets and frogs and night insects sounds identical! If I had a screen in my windows I'd just open my windows to hear this naturally. Good nite and sleep tight and don't let the mosquitoes 🦟 BITE :)!

Then I guess Georgia and Pennsylvania summer nights sound very similar lol

Thank you for your service, I'm sorry to hear that you too have no peace, I've suffered for the better part of 20 years with this insanity, it started with sounds like tiny bubbles popping constantly or a motor running, but the worst part of it was being able to feel the sounds, like someone thumping on my eardrum. That's my left ear. When the crickets, along with buzzing and humming of every pitch you can imagine started, I was just so thankful I couldn't feel that too, but it wears on you. I listen to brown noise that my sweet husband put on my phone bc as much as I love these videos, they get paused in the middle of the night and then I'm instantly awake and it's almost impossible to get back to sleep. I've got to agree with @timsearcy2877; these sounds perfectly cover up the tinnitus I've got as well. (Four years Marine Corps, 6 years Army.) It's winter here right now, but listening to this, I can almost smell the hot, humid summer nights, sleeping on an Army cot in our backyard, because it was too hot in the house and we had no A/C. We also heard this when we were in the field. My dad, who also served in the Army, said we'd gripe about the stuff while going through it, but years later, we'll only remember the good times. He's right. Listening to this, I'm smiling, thinking of sitting on my cot, drinking a Diet Pepsi and talking to my friend, Carol, before going on guard duty, or duty at the aid station and listening to the nightlife. Thank you for the good memories.

I grew up in an old farmhouse with no air-conditioning and the box fan in the window as well! There was a large hickory tree right outside my bedroom window and the sounds were piped in every summer night. So glad this video helps to bring you some benefit and/or nostalgia! Hello Tammy, thank you so much for your extremely kind words! So sorry youtube is stopping the play of these videos for you. I hear your frustration 100 percent and wish I had a solution for you! It should only do what you tell it to do. I have frustration with RU-vid as well, they demonetized my channel over a year ago claiming it has reused content. In other words they say that i'm taking sound or video clips from elsewhere on the Internet and making videos out of them. This is 100% false as I painstakingly film and record and edit all the videos and sounds here. As the channel has been growing I've been thinking of an alternate location to host this content, perhaps just the audio streaming from my own website, That people could also download to their device and play without an Internet connection in case they want to put their phone on Airplane mode at night. Anyway I'm sorry for your frustration but glad you are getting some benefit!
