I'm glad you're enthusiastic about the demonstration, but Ottawa is a medium sized city with only one million in the metro area. I was there today all day and the crowd may have been 10k, many of whom are locals. Most of the trucks are staged outside of town. They're trying to organize shuttles into town. Let's see what happens tomorrow. The train is very long.

I had the livestreams on all weekend as we were snowed in - these guys did it right, there was no anger, no vandalism and stereotypes be darned, acted like you would expect Canadians to act, super polite, picking up their own trash, bringing food for their neighbors. Justin Trudeau needs to realize that the support for this protest goes well beyond those representing us in Ottawa . So many have been crippled financially from the lock-downs and vaccine mandates that traveling to Ottawa was not possible . !

The organizers of this protest are not truck drivers. Mandates in Canada vary province by province.. drivers license are under provincial jurisdiction. You don't lose your license for not being vaccinated. You can still drive a truck and be paid to do so. Just a few things to think about. A public health order is an inconvenience and should not be equated with a loss of freedom. Having a best case scenario plan only, for a worldwide infectious disease isn't really a plan.
No public health order should ever take away our charter rights. They have went against the charter of rights from the beginning. And not one person should ever ever be forced to put something in their body they don't want. Period

Ok, it's really quite simple. The third dose increases immunity, so after the fourth dose you'll be protected. Once 80% of the population has received the fifth dose, the restrictions can be relaxed as the sixth dose stops the virus from spreading. I am confident that the seventh dose will solve our problems and we'll have no reason to fear the eighth dose. The clinical phase of the ninth dose will confirm that the antibodies remain stable after the tenth dose. The eleventh dose will insure that no new mutations will develop, so there is no longer any reason to criticize the twelfth dose.

In the 1970s in the U.S. when there was declared a gas shortage and there was not in Canada there was a long line of trucks that stopped on the highway on the east coast and that halted all of the traffic. We knew that gas stations were being paid to store gas and create a planned false shortage.
