Finally a new video heck yeah, just got a 2024 RG CVO ST as well, waiting on my Trashin risers and all components. Went all out on Trashin chrome parts as well. Something different this time. I have always blacked out all of my bikes...
I have the exact same CVO ST and I just did this same riser bar setup yesterday and would have loved to been able to see this video before I tackled mine lol. I ended up taking off the top triple tree just cuz I didn't think I could get to that bolt from the underside but you made it clear that you need full lock to get to it so maybe I did some extra work that I didn't need to. Mine came out great as well and they are super comfortable. Great idea to powder coat them gloss black I didn't think about that but still looks really good either way, nice job!
I went with the cvo st bars on my 2024 road glide 117 and you are correct about the comfort of those bars long distance. At some point I’m gonna switch to the thrashing bars set up
The risers and bars look fantastic especially powder coated great set up. I had it on my other bike, but I personally have a cvo st and I love the bars stock. I’m not changing mine. They feel good. I love the looks of them. I’m not touching mine.
Just came across your channel and subscribed. I'm taking delivery of the same bike (only White) this week and think you sold me on this handlebar/riser combo. I'm going to check out what KRAUS offers also, only because they're local (St. George, UT). I look forward to checking out your future videos!
Sick video! Thank you for sharing 🙏. I think I may have found my solution and saved this video for future reference. The stock bars sort of bugged me on shorter rides but I rode 1500 miles a couple weekends ago and my back was KILLING me by the time I got home (first world problems 😂). Thanks again 👊🙏.
Cool video I might have to change out my handle bar for my 2024 CVO RG ST it does look like it’ll be more ergonomically comfortable for long rides. I’m hoping you can illustrate full handle bar lock turns on both sides comfortably my stock handle bar feels like I’m reaching too far when in full handle bar lock in turns and I can’t seem to operate the clutch and throttle effectively and efficiently when I’m in handle bar lock positions 🙈
Powder coated definitely makes a difference. I would prefer an 8” bar or 6.5” pull back with mid or high bend bars. Riser looks a little too tall for a performance bagger. Nothing like what’s used on the track but that’s the style anyway. Thanks for sharing
Wow that looks awesome and thank you for all the details. Just wondering, was the clutch cable is long enough, and did you have to change the routing of it?
Looks good!!! What is the distance from stock handlebar location to Thrashin location? How much does it move the bars toward the driver? I am considering doing the same mod since long rides make my shoulders and back hurt in the current location. Good job. Thank you
Nice bars but you gear shift like you're riding a royal enfield. That's a serious engine bro. Driving that bike in 5th gear at 62 miles an hour is like your first two weeks on your first motorcycle. I have a 117 and the highest gear I would do that speed in is 4th and no ive never had any engine troubles ever on any of my bikes. That engine isn't designed for cruising alone, it's a hotrod. The only engine that ever put the Honda vtx 1800 in its place.
