Leviathan would've been sick enough as a journey fleet in the meta of exe/prof/levi rock paper scissors game. But their overhyping it as a game breaking unwinnable wall just screwed the whole thing up.
Absolutely. In fact I'm happy, that the leviathan isn't as strong as they said. If I think back to the executer release... Damn what a painful time. But their communication and the very buggy release just made it feel bad.

Scythe marks TFP when he has foresight, which is why they always go for him during that last section. Nice video by the way! This is gonna “blow up” your channel lol
Great video, I need to try this myself! (kind of sad that this would mean that in GAC one could no longer counter exe with Chimaera and Profu with tarkin, but anything that works is appreciated! My 6* Profu is not reliable anymore since the update)
Mhh it might feel like that but the leviathan just has so few turns. First turn is sabotage engines, second turn was reinforcement, third sabotage hangars and we'll the the battle is over. Thrawn just gets so many turns because of the tie dodges
Ye I wasn't successful with bomber either. Scythe gives so much more dmg and bombers taunt will slow you down, because your ties won't dodge that much.
Looks like your counter is the go to counter now, congtats. Every once in a while after the first dodge and my capital ship goes I can't bring in a reinforcement for some reason and I obviously lose. Any ideas why?
Mhhh do you use a shiploadout? When I choose the Chimera loadout they always sneak the milf into the team. Have to remove it always before I start a battle. If you only use the 6 ships, it should be fine. At least I have no other idea :D

@@larrybell5578 haha OK then I don't need to test it :D But it shouldn't stop the first turn reinforcement... Did it happen against dagger or fighter starter? If I find a solution I'll tell you but can't promise anything.
I wasn't successful with bomber yet. The dmg was to low for quick kills and with the taunt up, the ties won't dodge that much and thrawn will get less turns.
I couldn't make it work otherwise unfortunately. The buff dispell and the increased dmg from scythe is just so important. I tried it with tie bomber because it also can dispel but the dmg wasn't enough then.
Ye... Let's see what they do. Maybe we find a new solution. Sucks, that they want to stop every counter... I understand, that thrawn is to cheap but prof...
@@DannyDL1ght ye that's true but its still old stuff in comparison to a brand new meta fleet. I mean imp ships are great. They can beat executor and prof. That Cg wants to protect their new toy is kinda understandable I guess
Tried again right now and it worked but my defender Was in the red once. Cg just announced, they investigate the matchup right now so I think it isn't fixed yet but they might release a fix soon :(
@@jaymkay-swgoh I have won with it post patch but they have reached ult on me and I have lost a few battles, neither happened prepatch. I probably don't have the relics as high as you also. My Thrawn is 6 and Vader is 7.
Did you bring in more ships then the two reinforcements? The cooldown reduction only works when vader is in starting lineup, second sister is in reinforcements and all ships are sith or empire.
Is your vader relic 8 and full 6 dot mods? I added in the video description that vader should be r8. Couldn't test it myself with lower relics and had to w8 for reports from other players. But test the version with tie defender do the finishing hit if you have iden reliced up
@@edch77518 mhh okay maybe you need full 6 dot. Also what relic lvl was your opponent red trooper? I could Only test against relic 7. Maybe relic 9 blocks this. I think the Iden variant deals more dmg. Maybe that's the superior strategy overall. Thx for sharing important informations BTW :)

@@jaymkay-swgoh I understand its post patch and it worked brilliantly yesterday (4/4). But Today I'm at 0/8. Same opponent, same lineup (sith fighter one). They hardly ever go for TIE during the opening play and the opposing ship seems much faster (obviously opponent couldnt upgrade it since DR was at r9, all 6e mods from the start)
@@toughsituation8347 mhhh well that's strange. I just did it after your comment to check and it still worked for me. But I tried it only once today. Opening play should be the same. Tie gets foresight from his special and scythe marks him when he has foresight. Do your tie fighter goes first? Edit: I just realized you said sith fighter lineup. That battle might rly be different if they fixed the reinforcement order.

Well we are still figuring out stuff. Maybe a better defensive setup will be found soon. If leviathan stays weak on defense, you can beat every fleet with it on offense. Maybe not what we expected as Meta defining fleet but still strong
That does not work for me,vs TIE Dagger-Duritto and Sith fighter in first 3 I used this counter before the fix. In my fights first reinf is Palps Shuttle and then Mark VI Forsight all around the board. But super video

I always wanted levi to make a rock paper scissors triangle with profundity and executor. Unbeatable teams are terrible for the game, im glad the levi didnt end up being as op as the devs claimed.
