I am having the hardest time with this and the bobbin! I have read and watched every video but I can’t get the bobbin to work

Hi Lauriann! What issue are you having with the bobbin? I can try to help. I found a lot of videos on youtube back when I first got the machine and taught myself to use the machine from the videos and trial and error.

@@TshirtChick so it keeps doing the thread error. When it first started I couldn’t get it to even pick up the thread but now when it changes color it keeps saying thread breakage ty

@@lauriannmessina6669 Is it saying bobbin thread break or upper thread break? It could be an issue with tension. What brand and type of thread are you using? I have had similar issues when using metallic thread. Also check to make sure the machine is threaded properly. I had it giving a false thread break before and was getting frustrated until I realized the thread had some how got off the correct path and I had to fix it then it worked for me.

Has it gotten any easier for you with this machine I feel like I am constantly fixing the thread and bobbin. It’s so frustrating! Also do you know if you can buy bigger hoops? Ty for your help

Hi Lauriann!! Yes, it has gotten easier for me!! I actually just had a premiere that came out today about the machine. To be honest, once I learned how to use the machine and troubleshoot when the machine stops I did not have any issues at all with the machine other than things I caused myself. What I mean by issues I caused myself is like I was changing out a needle and removed the whole part from the machine (by accident) instead of just loosening it up enough to remove the needle then I couldn't get it back on so I decided to try to switch needles and move the thread I was using to that needle and it caused another issue that I was unable to fix myself so I had to put it in the shop. I also had 2 other issues that caused me to have to put the machine in the shop (both in the early stages of me owning the machine) but both of them were easily fixed and didn't cost much to fix. Other than those issues that were self inflicted NONE at all. I never had any training I learned everything from watching the plethora of videos I found here on youtube and the Tajima website. The big hoop that came with the machine is the biggest hoop available for the machine and any hoop bigger than that will not work with this machine. I tried Hoopmaster but they don't have one that is equal to the one that came with the machine the biggest they have is 8x9 I believe. I thought about reaching out to them to see if they would make one the size of the big hoop that came with the machine but have not done it yet. When I first purchased the machine My plans were to do hats and pocket logos but as I have been doing this for a while now I would like a bigger hoop too so I plan to buy another machine for this reason. @@TshirtChick thank you for replying. It has to be my mistakes but I am still so new I don’t see them. I am surprised about the size of the hoop. Everything I try to print says design to big! Ugh I thank you for your help and I will keep watching the videos you have been a huge help and inspiration

@@lauriannmessina6669 Do you change the size of the hoop when using the 2 different hoops that came with the machine? I actually keep my hoop on the bigger size so I don't have to change it when using different hoops to save time but I have to pay attention when it's doing the trace to make sure I don't strike the hoop. In the video I premiered today I had it to tell me the design is too big and I tell how I was able to still use that design for the job I did in the video.

I just bought a Tajima sai , I have an issue when starts stitching the thread get broken , I have noticed more in needle 1

With embroidery it takes a lot of troubleshooting skills. Some things could be the tension or possibly thread routed incorrectly. If you replaced a needle make sure it's facing the correct way. It's usually something really simple that you just have to figure out. I have had the thread just not going the correct rout and took a long time to figure out the issue and i just had to do a simple fix and was back stitching away. Hope this helps.

@@darehousegrill Also, make sure you are doing the maintenance. I wasn't doing mine at first as I was just trying to learn the machine and wasn't thinking about it. Then when I started doing it I was not removing the cover to oil the pads in there. I found that the machine works better if I do full maintenance routine.

I got the Tajima Sai just like u , but … I cannot use the spool of thread that came with the machine. Can you tell me the exact specs ( brand, thread weight, other details ) of the thread spool you use on your Tajima Sai? Im so mad at them for sending me a spool that does not even fit!! Thank you so much
