I think it also helped that the girl actually driving was actually trying to be compliant the whole time. Even when it was escalating, she asked to sit on a car and put her hands up to signal she is not trying to be defiant. I really appreciated that.
She literally got put in a time out like the toddler she is. I cant help but laugh at how she thought she couldn't get arrested in her yard. She's totally that kid that tried to make anything "safe" during tag and then got mad when she got tagged.
The funniest part to me was when the officers gave her the silent treatment in the car and she said "this how y'all supposed to treat people?" *Rewind video 30 seconds to witness her own behaviors* 🤣🤣🤣

This is why I don't want any affordable housing around me or worse yet living nextdoor to me I've experienced the same thing time and Time again non stop loud music and loud yard parties, thugs hanging out on their porch and in front of your house throwing trash in your front yard and daring you to say something to them and in their driveway being loud and rowdy and looking for easy targets around the neighborhood to pick on etc.

I agree, I don't think her Hospital would appreciate her behavior. Also, Shug says they just want to stick it to black people. That's completely uncalled for. Those police tried everything, and they even joked a little bit with Suge when Terry slapped his shoulder. I don't know any hospital that would want the liability of hiring somebody that screams racism when there is none.
I've been an RN for 37yrs & people like her will never get past the screening process. Even when we have a night out with our staff & some get a smidgeon tipsy - no one ever loses control or drives drunk. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Like how much she cared for her little cousin, even trying to plead to be arrested in her place and tried so desperately to get Darian to just stop breaks my heart. Agreed, I was 16 at a party and I did a beer stand. Drove everyone home 30 minutes later got pulled over, blew well below limit, passed tests, got ouil, cops were gonna let me walk home , but a sheriff pulled up and wasnt having it.. obviously because I was under 21, minor, which I understand, but I got two years of probation, suspended license and a big headache and this chick just totally got off unbelievable. I learned a lesson as this was 20 years ago. But I'm shocked at how lucky she made out on this. I do not understand. She hit a damn tree

Imagine having trash like that as your nurse. No DUI, no public intoxication, no disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct. All these officers accomplished was to show these girls that this kind of behavior works.

Im quite familiar with this area. My sister is an operating room charge nurse with over 40 years experience at a local hospital there. Can you imagine if this woman actually becomes a nurse and is told to follow an order she does not agree with? I pray my sister can retire soon because no amount of money is worth this type of aggravation and disrespect.
That one female cop is truly amazing. She has stayed calm, respectful, and level headed the entire time! I don’t understand why some people act this way for no clear apparent reason. The female officer behind the body-cam is a perfect example thar other officer's should try to emulate. She is a PEACE Officer, treated people with respect instead of objectifying and used the proper amount of force without abusing position for power. WELL DONE OFFICER!!!
I can't stand it when people can't take without yelling. It's one of the things the separates a child and an adult: being able to have a civilized conversation without raising voices.
I just have to say… as a nurse, I never would have conducted myself in this manner regardless of alcohol. She WILL actually have to answer for this behavior even before she can apply for a license. Alcohol is no excuse for the terrible things she said or did. This speaks to poor personal character.
The cops actually were way nice to them. They let the dui alone and only took the adult child for obstructing which she’ll get knocked down on a plea to a fine most likely. Proves that if you just talk civil to cops, some of them are still cool enough to let things slide. I think they feel bad for the driver cause she did a lotta damage to her car lol

Note for families and friends of a person who needs medical care; if something isn’t right with the nurse assigned to your loved one- take it to management. Demand patient care advocates. Do not let your loved one have to be cared for by someone like this horrible person. You have the right to ask for another RN/nurse to keep your loved one safe
I recently had my appendix removed, and I had to call patient services and fire my nurses halfway into my stay. People aren't getting into nursing for the right reasons anymore.

After being unjustly arrested once (over a decade ago, never been in trouble since), it infuriates me to see them not get a DUI. People who do nothing wrong can go to jail and have to forever have a mark on their record that they must disclose to employers while people who knowingly put the public at extreme risk get let off. I was at a coal mining class in Chapmanville, WV, having already made my underground card in KY, I now needed one to work in WV. Trying to better myself while being the sole employee at a video lottery parlor, dealing with gambling addicts until 4am and driving to class at 7am to start at 8. I fell asleep one day and the instructor asked me to stay late, after class he told me I was kicked out and was screaming at me, I kept my composure. He would not refund my $200, a lady that I assume was his daughter offered to pay me out of her pocket but I wasn't going to take her money, wouldn't have been right, I asked for the police to be called to mediate the situation. A threat of violence was implied by him. As soon as police arrived they told me to put my hands behind my back, patted me down, and put me in the squad car while they temporarily spoke to them and then took me to jail and towed my truck. Never took my side of the story or asked me a single question. Arrested for criminal trespassing and an extra bogus disorderly charge. During booking they had me take a shower in bare feet and had shower slippers waiting next to my chair after I came out, do you know what people do in the showers? Disgusting and dangerous for them to make me go in without slippers. Neither the arresting officer nor the instructor showed to court and it was thrown out, but like I said, I still have to disclose this instance on all of my employment resumes. Now they have my fingerprints, list of tattoos, etc. I'm in their database. Southern Regional Jail even stole some of my property, a fancy cigarette case and half pack of menthols inside. My grandmother made a complaint and discovered that wasn't the first instance of that instructor and that officer taking students to jail, we've never been well off and didn't pursue any recourse. Now I've been a caregiver to the aged and disabled for over a decade and haven't been in trouble since. The system is screwed up.

I feel sorry for the police officers, but I feel even worse for Darien's friend and boyfriend! She was extremely nasty to them. Teri was actually calm and compliant at first. Until Darien started screaming in her face and telling her to get into her yard repeatedly. She just snapped because clealy Darien wouldn't stop being rude and loud. She was making the situation worse than it needed to be. I probably would have snapped too when she kept yelling in my face and telling me what to do! Teri even ended up being very pleasant and understanding!
