Hello friends! Join me as I unbox and review my latest ThredUP Shoe Rescue Box! My last rescue mystery box was BAD...probably the worst I have ever received. You all know I have purchased A LOT of ThredUP rescue boxes! :) Due to this recent experience, I was nervous to purchase this box, but was influenced by a recent sale ThredUP launched on some of their rescue boxes. Shoes were included! I sent positive vibes towards this box. Will it be better than me last?!

Ok ive been going back and forth on buying the shoe box (after months of not buying them) but after your box I think I need to make it happen. I sold an Anne Klein similar to yours for $25 in less than a week. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for sharing.

My last box was total utter trash. Like they just put literal trash in it. Similar to yours. Only 4 pairs even sellable and those were cheap brands. Even with my crazy Goodwill prices I still do much better thrifting on my own or at the bins. Earlier in the year they were very good. My two before the trash box was also not great - but saved by a pair of great Birkenstock's that sold for $90. Thanks for doing these - not sure I'm risking it again. Mine come from AZ. This box for you was very good! So nice to see that!

Hi Jo! Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. It's beneficial to know the experience of others. I agree. There is something about seeing and touching an item in person. Also, mystery boxes are just that...a mystery. I like them because they are fun and can be profitable. Can still be very risky! I personally enjoy BST the most, simply because I do not have enough time to spend at the bins. I wish though!

Wow, what an amazing box! I've been considering getting another shoe box for a hot minute and the sale of them being reduced to $80 is definitely tempting! You got so many great items, I'm so excited to see how fast you can flip them in your what sold's!

How do you locate the rescue boxes on thread up?

Hi Paula! If you go to ThredUP.com from your computer or web browser on phone, there is a section at the top that says Rescues. Click ok that. They are only intermittently available, generally during random weekdays and times. :)

I bought my first rescue box from ThredUp and was really disappointed. Which is unfortunate when you take the chance your first time out. I got 3 pairs of pretty dirty sneakers I have to figure out how to clean, also a pair of Old Navy sneakers and a pair of super cheap Jessica Simpson rubber sandals. There were only two pair of shoes half way decent. A pair of Toms booties (they will not pay for my box though) and a pair of Frye boots that are so bleepy (well let's put in your bleeped word here shall we?) that I am not sure what do with them, plus I can't find the size. I watch all these RU-vid videos of people getting Tory Burch and Madewell and on and on. I just had bad luck...will take a while to get up my nerve to try another I think.

Hello! Aw, I am sorry to hear this. Always a bummer when there is no or little profit. Like I said, the box I received right before that was really bad....probably one of the worst. For me, I keep reminding myself that rescue boxes are for fun, but they are a risk. Although I know it's a bummer to get a dud! I can understand why you would want to wait awhile before purchasing another. Wishing you better luck with your next box. Thanks for watching. :)
