The last time I saw a Tom Thumb was 50 years ago with my first pony. The pony came with her headstall and bit. The "gentleman" said it was the only bit that she'd ever used. My Dad took it and when we got home tossed the bit in the trash, and we put her in a short shank Jr. Cowhorse bit. She did very well in this bit as long as we owned her. 😂 I don't promote Shetland ponies to anyone, but she was actually docile, great tempered, and taught me a great deal about horsemanship. ❤
I looked through your videos and couldn't find the video on the three bits you actually like. Could you pls supply the actual name of the video? I've run through your library twice and must have blown past it. Thanks so much.
You have fallen victim to some false advertising on my part. We actually got two videos reversed in sequence. The video on the bits I like should be going up in the next week or so. Hope you found something to watch in your journey through our video catalog. Thanks for watching and commenting and sorry about misleading you!
They don’t do much for me. For more information on bit materials see episode 157-Bit Metals and Materials. Thanks for watching and thanks for your question.
