He does is with patience, grace, ease, and explains with examples and scripture passages for us to go to to read, reflect and change our life, examine our lifestyle and relationship with The Lord thanks for sharing your post

Me too. I can’t listen to the pastors who are shouting and spitting. We shouldn’t be preaching the word of God with such an angry spirit anyways. Charles Stanley speaks in a way where you can actually comprehend what he’s saying because you’re not caught up in the emotion of the preacher.

You are asking Him to have mercy? Dear sister! The heart of the Lord is mercy. He wouldn't have died for us and shed his blood to wash our sins away if he wasn't powerfully merciful and loving to us. Have joy in Him and for what He did for us. It is everlasting.

@@Super-qr7wm I understand, but even my being Atheist does not mean I don't care about the children- quite the opposite in fact, it's religion and theism that I see as a direct threat to a child's well being. Atheism is not a choice, not an ideology, not a world view, and most certainly not a religion- it's simply a conclusion that, unlike religion, is a voluntary movement which seeks to achieve its end goal of becoming moot; what religion ever pursues or even desires its own dissolution this way?

I look at a well spoken sermon in the same way I view a highly crafted art piece. It all comes from the mind and heart but none the less it's all pretend. @@d.j.eighties7918 I'm former military and I say that's nonsense. God never put a soldier in a fox hole. A human did. Also what about the enemy fox holes? Did God skip them that day? And if God is in every fox hole does that mean both sides are firing upon God's troops? Wouldn't that make both sides the enemy of God? I'm sorry sir and thankyou for your service but your comment is not accurate. That old phrase implies that in times of danger that we as humans immediately defer to God to get us out of that jam. It's like jumping out of a plane with no parachute. You can pray to God the whole way down but that doesn't mean God will nullify gravity in your favor. The point is... humans are fascinating enough creatures without having to pretend God exists. But what do I know? I'm in league with the Devils stampede destined to burn in an eternal lake of fire so feel free to disregard everything I say.

Still this popped up for you. I won't try to convince you but this IS the first of many "coincidences" heading your way. I'm former Military as well and Man did put us in Foxholes but God brought us out. Keep an eye open because I feel it. You're heading for something you never reasoned or planned.
