Voted one of the Best Beaches in Europe, Three Cliffs Bay and the surrounding bays offer spectacular coastal views with miles of sandy beaches. The Gower Peninsula in South Wales has some of the most breathtaking scenery without the big crowds and is hugely underrated.
This Hike is rated Moderate due to the distance but you don't have to go all the way to Oxwich Bay. We wore everything from hiking boots and flip flops to bare feet.
Park at the Southgate National Trust Car Park (£4 or park on side streets for free) and be sure to check the tide times on the board so that you can make sure you are able to return via the via the beach before the sea comes back in.
