Join us on a colorful journey through the science of intermolecular forces in this intriguing, yet simple experiment. Learn the chemistry behind why certain dyes are more attracted to water molecules than others, resulting in unique and colorful separations. You'll learn about intermolecular forces such as ion-dipole forces, and hydrogen bonding in an engaging way. On a side note, the effect generated in this experiment looks like the flag of Ukraine 🇺🇦! I genuinely would love to see a 30-minute chemistry 101 class going over all of the various ways you can salt various mixtures of food coloring and water and third item that is "household" it would make for an excellent tutorial for a scouts activity.

Thats great, could you give us the name or e number of the dye? Hopefully I can replicate it for the school I work for.
