When he said: "the moment of truth , when you know that your Daddy is the best chef in the world". Then turns the banana pastry, he looked so proud of himself when he looked to the camera and he deserves it 👏👏
This is my favorite version of Gordon. everyone loves the hothead version but I enjoy his familiar tone. Reminds me of my younger days and is more relatable and digestible. This is also the length of content i prefer. I want to listen to Gordon, watching is a bonus.
I also adore when he cooks with his Mum. It's amazing how a Mum could turn a world-class chef into a 5-year-old boy in 2 seconds. There's a video where the two of them are making the same dessert. Mum looks over at his dessert & says, "It's not done; it's sinking in the middle like the Titanic". You should have seen the look on his face. He couldn't believe she knew that just by looking at it. He was totally deflated as he went to put it back into the oven. Mum just laughed.
He has such a healthy relationship with his family there is so much mutual love and respect, it's so nice to see and it's obviously not fake or manufactured
I've learned a lot of things just by watching Gordon do his thing and going back a few times and pay closer attention to make sure I'm right. He has made me add better flavour in my food and a better person in the kitchen or on the grill. Just listen and learn. I can see a big difference since I've started watching his shows like this and everyone loves it. 🍻🍻🍻
My favorite of these videos are the ones where he cooks with his girls. He seems to be a great teacher and father, and you get to see his softer and more patient side. He’s always so intense, and can be quite harsh, but never with his girls. He’s patient, and genuinely affectionate. An excellent example for other fathers.
I just love how you involve your children and teach them life’s most important lessons🙏 blessings to you and your family🙏 Gordon You are an exceptional chef 👩🍳♥️🍷🍷
This man is just amazing in so many ways!! Absolutely perfection in the kitchen, an amazing father, and just an all around good human being!! I've been a fan of his for a VERY long time now. I'm a 45 yr old single mother of 4 wonderful children, and 4 perfect grandbabies and was recently put on hospice and only have a few more months to live due to my atage 4 colon cancer turning aggressive. Going to one of his restaurants and eating food actually cooked by him was at the top of my bucket list. Sadly I'm going down hill pretty quickly at this point, so I doubt this will be a dream that I can fulfill. So I'll just have to settle for watching him on RU-vid and dreaming. Plz keep up the good work Gordon, u are loved by many!! ❤️❤️
My hands started shaking and I immediately got hungry when I saw how juicy the roasted meat is...😆🤤🤤Perfect colour, perfect crust...Mouthwatering, stunning!
Chef Ramsay- I love the way you interact with your children while you guys cook. You are patient & very soothing in the way you say, "Take your time". That is so special. I appreciate your instructions so much because cooking something for the first time can be so intimidating. You make the whole process, smooth as silk. LOVELY!
I wasn't a gordon ramsey fan until I watched this. The swearing put me off. But this video is very impressive. Very informative. and his relationship with his kids is fab. I didn't realise he was a human being.
This must be so heart warming for him when his kids show an interest in cooking, asking questions and showing a genuine interest and it must be so lovely for his kids after no doubt seeing him on tv being able to ask questions and he explains things to them. Plus it’s such a great life skill for them to have knowing how to cook as well as great memories and bonding experiences
I l❤ve your recipes, cooking tips, and bold personality.... but what I love more is your relationship with your children. It's so truthful and kind. I can tell you're an amazing father ❤
My favourite it part is when he corrected the way of whisking : “Let me show you a better way to do it” versus what most people do the easiest reaction which is ”your doing it wrong!!” The cadence of the correction is absolutely impeccable.
Big fan and longtime subscriber so thanks again for another amazing video! That said, I must challenge one thing you said. Pan drippings aren’t necessarily bad (depending on the animal’s diet - grass fed vs. corn fed) but vegetable oil is definitely not the healthy or healthful option. I know it sounds counterintuitive but it’s not actually made from veggies but rather vegetable seed (watch a video on how it’s made). Loads of chemicals are used to extract an oil from said seeds but it doesn’t have any vitamins or nutrients that one might expect from something “derived” from vegetables. Alternatively, if your beef is grass fed then it’s actually a much healthier option than its grain or corn fed counterparts. Cows have two stomachs in order to digest grass, not grains. When the animal doesn’t have access to its natural diet, all the free radicals and other bad bits get trapped in the fat cells, making it bad for you. That said, don’t be p🤬y! Go for pan drippings!! Your heart and tastebuds will thank you!
I mess with my daughter like this all the time. We're goofy together and you can see she's his first born! He builds her confidence but keeps things fun and young.
I Dont need to watch 28 mins to give an opinion littleman. You do know who Gordon Ramsay is dont you? 3 different ways to do a roast would automatically make say "absolutely lovely" as that's my favourite dish. Soooooo u were saying?
Both poultry dinners looked to die for,but what is it with chefs and raw beef roast?Gimme a nice Mississippi Pot Roast and put the meringue on good old Lemon Meringue Pie please.
To Everyone who sees this comment: Keep pushing in life and just never give up! You are a wonderful person, you can achieve everything you want, God may bless you.🥰🥰🥰
I was brought up to believe that beef should be thinly sliced but lamb and pork could be served in thicker slices. I am wondering whether this was a general or just a familial preference? I learned to cook at my mother's elbow; she was largely brought up by an aunt who was a professional (Victorian) cook. I was also taught that beef gravy should be more of a jus but lamb gravy could be thicker ?to absorb the greater fattiness of the lamb. My mother used a lovely recipe for roast lamb known as The Digby Luxury. A shoulder of lamb was first simmered with onion, root veg. and a bouquet garni. It was then smothered in fresh breadcrumbs and seasoning and finished in the oven. The stock, skimmed of fat, was used to make gravy and the veg. served with the meat, a green vegetable and boiled or mashed potatoes. When I make this dish I add chopped parsley and thyme to the bread crumbs and blitz the root vegetables to form the bulk of the gravy. Like Gordon, my mother liked to pass on her skills and always said that she would love to have been a domestic science teacher but unfortunately in her day higher education for girls was not thought to be necessary. One day, when I was in my twenties and visiting home I was summoned into the kitchen with the words "You've never drawn a chicken so it's time you did!". So, under her supervision, I obliged, and, indeed, found the lesson useful later when confronted with a goose or pheasant complete with feathers and innards.
Top chef,Gordon iam 70 years old and from New Orleans La and I’ve been cooking for many years and you my dear chefs,I have no words, you keep me speechless I love you, thanks for sharing, and I love your girls, sueann
Creamed leak.. cayenne pepper as 1 of the ingredients.. suits any Sunday roast ..lamb obviously.. beef or chichen adds a slight spice to a Sunday roast.. amazing..
I can see Gordon putting his anger and frustrations into "making " but not showing nothing to his kids. Respect to the man. 👍👏👏👏 if I have a kids and cooking I'll be shouting , swearing , and crying . possibly I'm gonna having a nervous breakdown then go splat on a floor , making gestures of snow angele on right in front of them . 😂
I would imagine that a topper to a delicious meal and after dishes were done. Would be to sit back and watch episodes of Chef’s programs. Maybe Kitchen Nightmares.🤔👍
You always try to do something new and extra ordinary and make ur audience feel excited for every next video. I took some inspiration from you especially in my video where I ordered pizza to MrBeast's house! 😂💕
