The kitten was a bit rough imho with the chicks. Was biting them etc. I would have been a bit more protective of the chicks around a rambunctious kitten. Love them all!
Yeah i was thinking the same thing. Anyone who has had puppies and kittens know they can be a bit rough because they dont understand yet. The biting and the clawing could hurt lol need to teach them to be more gentle
We used to teach the cats to swim early in life it was very good. We used to put food on floating dishes and hold the cats under their belly in the water so the water was not scary to them. We experimented with food, they were calm and relaxed and we still handled them by their belly so they always felt supported and soon they loved to swim. Even had a swimming pool once they got bigger, but it worked and none of them were scared or worried about water ever, a few food tricks worked good , they liked us holding them in the water under their belly, they felt more secure and less nervous without shaking of fear.
@@andypearson3776 By "real life" do you mean in nature? OP did write about it in "real life". I hope you know what domesticated means. While it may not seem safe for ducks to be accustomed to cats, I don't think these ducks are being released into the wild.
@@benpo3811 you don't have to put kittens in bathtub full of water to teach them to like ducklings, just put them in a room together, you don't have to teach a cat how to swim.
Kittens bathe themselves. There is no reason to subject them to water, unless it’s for entertainment purposes, like here, which is really just exploitation.
Because the ducks have claws on the end of their webbed feet, they are not soft like Disney, notice he only ever bit them when they are directly on top of him, stabbing and scratching him with their razorsharp claws
Thanks for noticing. Hopefully it was just a moment of discomfort. When ducklings grow, cat won't want to do that. But the human guardian should keep them safe and well, comfortable enough.
I had a cat , who can diving underwater, of course I did teach him , when he was very little. Another cat loves water so much, so he always walked showering with every family member ( sometimes cat took shower 4-5 times a day) , and it was big deal if someone did not wanted to take him to 🚿 shower.
💕 watching this channel. The kitties 🐈 and the ducks interacting with each other always puts a smile on my face. 🐱. Gotta 💖 these little guys. They are way too cute.

"Can i successfully bathe the kitten?" Sure, you can bathe the kitten in there, but you're going to want to rebathe it later in water that doesn't have duckling poo in it...
It's disgusting to see how that poor kitten is pained when it's forced to get in the water. Wtf...animal cruelty..a cat is no duck...what else will the owner try...learn the cat to fly?
Kitten: I´m scared. I´m confused. I want my mum. I want a cuddle. I want to feel safe. They dunked me in the water many times before I learned I had to sit here. I want to go home. I want a cuddle. I want to play on the floor.
I was surprised at the end after all the peaceful cohabitation. Is that some sort of Conan the Barbarian scenario where they're thrown in the pit and have to "sort themselves out"?
I have had various cats and hens and their little chickens on my farm and none have been eaten yet, even more so a a domestic cat would not be willing to attack a grown up duck, their claws are no joke too for somebody cat size
huh, though the idea of trying to use ducks as a way to help the kitten learn to be ok with water, was a good idea... It seems you didn't take into account the reason why most cat breeds hate the water (except for Maine Coons). Cold Temperature both in and out. If what I saw from the water faucet handle is correct, you had the water set to the cold setting. That is going to be the kill joy that doesn't help the non-main coon kitten over come its fear of water.
