There is actually a Rainbow Sloth Tarot available on Make Playing Cards. It's super cute, and you can choose whether you want the purple gilding on the edges.
Oh my gosh....the 8 Bit Tarot.....take my money! Just bought it. You always introduce me to such interesting decks, Sarah. And This Might Hurt is probably my favourite deck ongoing, Heather.
Watching in parts while recouping. So commenting in parts, too, lol. I realise I play fast and loose with the term clone tbh. I assume a clone for many is considered a replication of many things, figure numbers, body language, and scenic layout. But I tend to call the obviously rws inspired, clones to a point. So ones I'd say are, that I feel many wouldn't, mystical cats tarot, pagan cats tarot are prime examples. So perhaps I need a new word, because I have rws inspired that feel much further from a RWS original. RWS twist, perhaps, lol. As Heather says, there's no tarot police though. Although a few wannabes 😅
I enjoyed the exploration through your chosen decks and why they hit or not. I'm realising it's quite possible I don't have anything that is close enough to be a clone, and perhaps why I'm so loose with the idea internally. But yea, all the reasonings shared made sense. Was lovely to hang out with you 3 again.
“No tarot police although a few wannabes” I literally loled. 🤣🤣🤣 Way too true. And yeah I guess for me I really just divide it into two categories…”RWS clone” (defined the way we did in the video) and “based on the RWS system” (basically anything else RWS inspired that isn’t a clone). But that’s maybe too reductive because you’re right that something like the Pagan Cats is closer to RWS Original Recipe than something like, say, the Sasuraibito. 🤔 More to ponder. 💖💖💖
@@SunsetBoughTarot lol glad I could bring you some laughs. Yea, I feel like there's a weird middle place, but again, I've not really thought about it until now fully. So this convo really inspired further contemplations.
Oh man the Happy Tarot is a real stalker and list hopper for me. I really like it. I love that it feels like it's set in candyland and I love the happy statements in the LWB which are really unique to this deck. But then again, do I need another cute RWS deck or would it turn out to be a deck that I wouldn't use much just like you because I have other ones that are pretty similiar in a way. Just can't figure it out with this one. As July describes the original Hermit card from the Modern Witch it was totally a description of me sitting here in bed with purple and pink blankets and pillows with earphones in watching you guys. If that doesn't say I love being in Hermit mode I don't know what does. Also if you guys would like to get the deck with better cardstock get the German version. Totally the same just with useable cardstock.
