If you guys want to camp here with kids and there is at least 5 kids along you can go to the ampatheater and it is always open so feal free to make a show! I have done it and it is really fun!

It all depends on where you are camping in the park. If you stay in Cliffstone, I'm guessing it may be 1/4 mile. It might be 1/2 mile or so from other campsite areas.
We visited May 13-15, 2022, so relatively early in the year. The lake was not yet very weedy as it tends to get as the summer progresses. I hope this helps - thanks for watching. Cheers!
