From what I told the Almond Warer thing is because of older Backrooms posts mentioning an Almond smell, which was referring to cyanide, but you know how the internet is.

The only real problem with that almond smell is that the almonds that smell like cyanide have a cyanide smell and don't smell like almonds (cyanide doesn't smell like almonds but there is a specific kind of almonds that smell like cyanide known for their smell being like cyanide)

The lore of the almond water is that in earlier versions the backrooms were described as having the scent of almonds. This was later misconstrued as almonds being necessary for survival, when the original intent was likely to reference cyanide poisoning iirc.
