They were given creative control, a new character designed by Akira Toriyama and had a decent advantage in terms of graphics. But what we got was a weak story with no substance and full of plotholes. Really none of the DB games have decent stories. This was maybe one of the better ones, but that isn't saying much. It is definitely the best DB fighting game though. The only real reason to purchase this is to fight with friends or online. Playing this in story/against the computer is extremely underwhelming since the difficulty level is too easy and there's no replay value once you've finished it.
