I watched this movie with my Cousin a National Guard Soldier he was deployed a few times to the Mid EAST he never spoke much about it, but he did tell me he ran into a few Army SF guys like Clooney's character Maj Gates.

hi, He's still around and kicking, I would even dare to say he is one of those people who don't seem to age. To me he still looks largely the same. I sure wouldn't guess 20+ years difference.

If you like a movie on streaming, get the DVD or Blu-Ray and watch the "director's commentary", which is different from a "director's cut" of a movie. Watch the movie 3x, so you know & understand the storyline, then watch commentary. Here, Dir talked about using a "meat cannon" to "blow up" the cow. Don't recall how he shot the "sepsis" sequence, but recollection was that he pranked a colleague by telling him that they used a human cadaver & a high-speed camera, but comments that that was not true. U.S. federal laws prohibit misuse of a corpse.
MIL thunder 5, non-military issue. You can buy the civilian version Taurus - The Judge, or Smith & Wesson Governor both shoot .410 shot shells or 45 colt. FYI These firearms are horrible for self-defence, personal carry.
I can’t see this movie because I feel deeply sad when in duration scene they put bomb 💣 for crashing a cow 🐄 really poor a cow 🐮😭😭😭😭, this really cruelty, no humanity 😭
