George cam, very nice. Wow, that is a lot of running around to make sure irrigation is working. Plants need water and you got your truck washed at the same time. Prayers to Aaron🙏
Nice seeing you George, glad you had a good trip south. Thanks for taking us along today. If the weather holds like they say , it will be a long summer of watering.
Like your videos you tell if the way it supposed to be told we just finished planting beans June 14 and now we’re dry here in southeast Wisconsin. Keep up the good work and be safe.
good luck to Aarron ; i ha have a hearth attack this years not the same problem than him but i know what it is to re strat after that .Not simply , not the end it's a new start ...
do not see how you guys deal with combine payments and planters i would be sick of payments on them all with the way the contry is going and grain prices are do not get me wrong i am happy to see farmers upgrade their equipment
You guys need a 2+ remote mics that clip onto your shirts so we can Hear your Dad & Uncle Better please. Many times your Dad talks and he just fades off on his volume. Boy you guys sure have A Lot of Irrigation problems. Need to pay a little better attention to their preventative maintenance. Maybe do some Updating. New combines again in 1 year. U guys wanna go thru that process of discovering all the New Bugs Again ! Pay $1 Million a combine you think the factory would have a much better Quality Control ! New Cars and Pickups don’t have factory bug issues as does every combine does. Prayers for Aaron and his family for a speedy recovery.
If that is how simply you see it, it's really not worth the effort to explain all the reasons why they try and upgrade some equipment every year. That is why they are doing it and not you.
I appreciate that your videos are current and not delayed a month or so. I feel more connected with your farms. Keep up the good work, and be safe out there.
It is so helpful for these to be updated I know it’s a lot of work but those of us different region we appreciate it so much. They are getting lots of rain up north according to Sunny youTuber South Dakota another awesome family RU-vidr!
I watch you watering your farm, have you heard what they are doing to the farmers in Idaho , they don’t want them to water their crops, it’s all political , meta in building a factory there that uses over 2 million gallons of water a day to cool their electronics this could happen to any farmer
500k acres of some of the most beautiful farms in the world all being killed off because of political bs. Or pay 300$ acre fine a day absolutely disgusting and criminal. I have friends that will loose farms that are 100 yr old farms. All the while the reservoirs are 100% full and river’s flooding and snow pack is still coming off the mountains.
George, thanks for visiting my state (SC) 🙏 Yes, I-26 has a TON of construction going on right now and it cause a giant mess!! The best way to get somewhere around here is on back roads 😂 Congrats on the 3 brand new 9250’s… can’t wait to see them in action this fall.
I really like watching your videos. It's fun for me to watch different farming videos from different parts of the country. We farm in Southern Minnesota and we farm just a little bit different than you. Like we till all our ground where your more no till or minimum till. We have alot of clay ground and heavy black dirt where your what looks like lighter soil thus your irrigating. There is some lighter ground here and some pivots. Not many though. Right now after 2 years of drought we are now getting more rain than we can handle. 4" since Friday where we're at but go west about 50 miles 8+" more the further west you go. Haven't been able to spray beans yet. Overall our crops look good just need more heat and a little less water!
Love your videos every week. Hope to get out to see your farm someday just a drive by would make me happy. sending Prayers for Aaron and for all of you there. Keep safe and God Bless all of you at Ivers Farms
Northwest Iowa here. Been in severe drought last 3 years and this year we are having record flooding right now. Correctionville Iowa. Little Sioux river
Another great Ivers update ...TY Reese! Those new combines sure look nice! Hope they run flawlessly! Always good to see a George segment! Best wishes to Aaron and his family for a speedy recovery! Y'all hydrate yourselves and be safe!
Just got back from a visit to central Ohio. Most if the row crops I saw show of late planting. I saw one hay field cut and bailed. Most needed cutting. S.W. Lower Michigan got .90"+ of rain last night. A few isolated spots went over 1". Farms with irrigation been running all week due to the dry conditions.
If I had a guess on why that 90 broke its because that steel pipe settled on the other side. Beef up whatever’s supporting it on either end. When that 6” pipe is full there’s an immense amount of weight over that span
i bet you are glade to have the irrigation system this year as hot as it been, Sorry to hear about Aaron Grigg will be praying for him. Glade to see you got your new combines .Hope we get more rain👍
Excellent video Reese,Dennis,George, and David i really enjoy seeing all the different aspects of your farming operation it amazes me how much it takes to operate your farms. prayers for Aaron
Prayers for Aaron from Australia. I too am having heart valve replacement in a few weeks. My life will never be the same again. There will be plenty of time to catch-up on Ivers Farms videos during my recovery.
It’s not a Capacity problem it’s more of a Peaking Problem where the Power company that serves the electric irrigation wells have to Buy the extra power for the Peak times at 2-3x the cost. So the power company does everything they can to keep the peak demand lower. They give these farmers a cheaper electric rate if they shut their wells off during peak. Makes sense. Ya these stupid electric cars are a big drain on an already obsolete Capacity Old power grid. But Nobody wants those New Big Transmission power lines in their backyard plus the 10 years Government Red Tape for starting construction on New Power plants. It’s a Big Rabbit Hole of problems for the Electricity Grid. Which is why we’re putting in our own standby generator. Propane Powered or Diesel if we can find Non-Bio diesel fuel. Bio diesel is Crap 💩
This is the second time I fell asleep on the toilet watching a Ibers video you need to spice it up so I stay awake, watching this propaganda program probably gave that aron character a heart attack 😳 who da thunk dat anywho the videos suck have a rotten day and go hug a tree Trump/Tulsi 2024
