One million subscribers on the gentleman’s gazette? That’s one million more stylishly equipped gentlemen in the world! Congrats guys, I’ve been watching for years and I’m happy for you guys 😁😁
@@h.s.w.5760 Mosley failed. But he was by no means a failure. He successfully built one of the most impressive political movements to ever arise in England and should he not have faced imprisonment without trial and misrepresentation in the media after the war, he might have even seized power.
@@henryhen76543 Mosley is often considered the English gentleman of Fascism. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the film or the photos or heard the stories but I would not call Mosley’s followers overweight or particularly ill educated. He spoke to the working class, and he fought for the working class. In the beginning of his political career he was considered to be an up and coming star and until he turned away from conventional politics he retained said title. Mosley was considered to be the greatest orator in England during his highest period of influence and widespread popularity and I would even dare to say that Mosley was more competent than the people in charge at the time he was imprisoned but for now I’ll stick with the phrasing that he was less malicious. You’re welcome to your opinion on him the way I’m welcome to my opinion on anyone you might look up to, and the way everyone is welcome to their opinion on anyone else, however I will disagree with you on this matter. Now, this is not the time nor is it the place for this discussion and I wish you a good evening.
I liked seeing the outtakes in this one. It makes it seem like it’s easier for Preston to dress savvy than it is to articulate what makes it savvy. Which is encouraging to me, as an amateur. As always, ty for the advice. Keep ‘em coming.
I love the humor in your videos. It makes me feel like I know you, and that keeps me coming back. As for the video, I can see how an additional color can be positive. Thank you. As for 15:10: it's an awesome outfit, but two dominant patterns? No thank you. Unless that is, I am about to say "Ladies and Gentlemen, I direct your attention to the high wire",
I still prefer wide lapels on suits and wide legged trousers I hate skinny suits in England back in the day most working class People like myself would of worn a flat cap and suit so it's not only for rich people and I love 70s suits it's only the American ones that were bad not the British ones
I often prefer color combinations with the varying shades of blue that dominates my wardrobe, particularly my collared shirts. This video gave me some helpful tips to do it.
Hi Preston!! I a have question about your camelhair sportcoat: i really like the silhouette, would you consider its chest drape and waist treatment along the lines of the classic drape cut? ( Think A& S, Golden age suits) or is cut close through the chest instead of full?
Congratulations on a million subscribers! I have been following the channel for years, and it has been a joy to follow the expansion and increasing quality of your channel. Here’s to another million!
Hey guys, any ideas for socks to wear with harness boots? Not for style, practicality because they won’t show. Thanks. All I see when I search are Wrangler and Carhartt socks for work boots. Thanks.
Think i joined around the 500k mark, which was last year or so if my memory serves?!....so really during the pandemics the subs dynamics really picked up !
I usaaly wear blue or brown blazer with white pant or blue pant and a tie and fedora hat daily and some times I wear a vest but in work I wear black or blue suit with tie
As a subtle nod to constructive criticism, the clips following those puns could be of the more humorous sort, E. G. the loud car could have been one that crashed afterward. You are trying to make a joke? Go all out or it will flop! But keep trying, you're not comedians, you're writers, and you can only become better at making jokes with experience! I really enjoy that you're trying to make the videos more fun and the jokes get better every time
Encore on the socks puns!! 😂 thanks editor(s). ***edit*** 1 Mil?!! Congratulations guys! You are so natural in my life that i do not even check that number anymore. Loved you since 2015ish? Thank you for the introduction and education to formal wear. Keep being yourselves!!
Love this channel so much I don't always agree, black can be more diverse in my opinion for example, but still I look at much of your knowledge and try to apply it
I was wondering if you could do a reveiw on this made to measure place called studiosuits? It has good reveiws but I was wanting to hear from you guys. Thanks.
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers. Way to go, gentlemen. I'm a huge fan of "colorful" outfits such as the ones presented here (I love Preston's sweater here, I own and often wear a knit vest in a similar, rust tone, and it's just so very versatile), and I could take quite a few good tipps from this video. It's appreciated. I also appreciate you guys getting your camera/production(?) fellow (who has been mostly dressed very casual in your videos so far) to wear some example outfits.Looks sharp and I hope he feels the same about it.
I live in a mix of sets and combos in a variety of colors. No white shirts, they'd never last in the desert. I have one dark grey pinstripe suit for major meetings. the rest is fun!
Oh Preston! The shame!! You endeavour to include all aspects of the subject you are presenting so much that you revise a few time to include the bow tie/pocket square etc. BUT HOW can you so easily miss the elephant in the room? When talking about the whole package and details that so complete an appearance you don't mention using either glasses or watch/strap to support and provide the colour (yes, this message should be read with an English accent) to polish the final look one is aiming for. Strive on fella. :-)
I love your videos and never miss! Lately I’ve been wondering about the length: Could they be shorter? You have so much wonderful content and I’m wondering if context would be more effective in videos that are more concise and compact. A gentleman’s most precious asset is his time, and if I watched every video and followed every link to more videos, I’d have a lot less of it! Help us conserve time with quality content that is concise and to the point! Just a thought!
