Three Pines - a look back at 2023 

Finding the 3 Pines books is a great gift. Louise, you have connected me with a place I want to be. The people, the Bistro, the entire feeling of comfort, caring and warmth. Thank you for every little piece of each person and place, the good and bad, the ugly and beauty, the possibilities of good deeds, kindness, and caring in our world. I see your photos and feel like you know me! Your smile radiates the friendships and stories that you share. What a worldly connection you have, and a forever gift you give. Thank you. 🙏 peace 🕊️

Three Pines is my sanctuary. I love spending time there with my friends. Of course , there is a great story to read, but I love the feeling of comfort in familiar surroundings. Sitting in the Bistro by the fire when it is snowing outside, hearing the conversations around me and having delicious food--there is nothing better. As it turns out I have visited the area where it exists but didn't realize it at the time. If only I could go back now. Long live Three Pines!

A lovely reminder that there are good people everywhere. I found my first Louise Penny book in an airport shop. I couldn’t put it down and became an avid reader and awestruck fan. Gods blessings to all as we begin anew in 2024

In addition to my addiction to these books (really, it’s like reading/listening to my neighborhood) I love Louise’s monthly newsletter letting us know what she’s been up to, what we can expect. I was feeling a need for a visit to Three Pines and Gamache and all who live there so went back to the first book. Ahhh! Friends! Thank you Linda for the 2023 round up. Lovely video...thank you Linda! 2023 was a "Life is messy/ no "New Normal Yet"/ worse before it gets better year for me, but it had its highlights! I got to meet Louise (the only author I ever REALLY wanted to meet, so a big deal) to celebrate my birthday and got a bonus hug🥰🥰🥰). One of the things that made my year better was seeing all of the beautiful smiles on Louise's face. So wishing our #belovedstoryteller Louise all that makes that happen again in 2024! But come out when you can so we can see them again and give you the hug back! If you stay home too much, we may all have to apply to you for asylum in Three Pines (only half joking}.😍😍😍Happy New Year to all!🙏🌲🌲🌲🍾🥂

Thank you Linda. This totally sums up the year. I have never had the honor to meet Louise but I certainly love her books and have been slowly getting through the whole series. I'm up to 2016 so I'm on my way. At the conclusion, in the acknowledgements, is when I learned of Michael's Dementia. :( You are an amazing writer and you always keep my interest and I never guess who did it! My father was a Mystery Writer and a famous radio one (his stories were on Skippy Peanut Butter Theater, etc). So to actually stump me is pretty darn amazing. I hope one day I get to meet you. Thank you for all you give tu ALL of us. I hope you do so again in 2024 and that we are around to read those books. With all this stuff going on around the World, it's frightening (especially living in the US). May you have a wonderful and Happy and HEALTHY New Year and thank you for being the most amazing writer ever! xo

This makes me cry! Love you Louise! Take time... You have a true gift...or many. I treasure my Gamache books. You have me start looking into psychology, and many years later, I am in a better place as a result. I nursed my parents until death, and Gamache and his beautiful Reine Marie feel like wise substitutes sometimes. I love all the characters! I might be able to be at Woody Point! I'm due to visit my son and his family out there! Greetings from Niagara Falls!

Three Pines is on Amazon, however the last episode had the protagonist shot with no result as to whether he lived!! What gives??
