[Low Intermediate] How to fold a 3-point ninja star. I was asked by Rob (of Rob's World RU-vid Channel) to try to design a 3 point ninja star, and finally, after many disappointing attempts, came up with this model that I'm rather pleased with. Folded out of printer paper cut square it really flies like a frisbee, more than anything I've ever folded before!

In robs video, he just called you and he asked you about the star and you said, "look at your front door." and Rob was like "huh?" and then you threw your star out your door and when rob looked out his door, the ninja star hit his eye and he was like "ow!" and when you asked him "did you get it?" and he said "yeah, but it's really sharp and I'm sure they will love it." and he was wearing a eyepatch at that time.

Mohamed Origami Awesome! Good idea about the cardstock! I think if you could find/make 11-inch squares of card stock this model would fly Xtra awesome... like a real frisbee. That's what I wanna do when I have the time.

3-D objects tend to not fly as well as 2-D objects, but it is theoretically possible to make a 3-D version of this star. If 30 people like this comment, I will at least try.

What paper size do you recommend for this?

Alton Chang Well, I designed it from 6-inch kami, but in the collaboration videos with Rob, we used printer paper cut square, and I have to say the 8 - 1/2 - inch square of printer paper flies the best (haven't tried larger paper) It's like a frisbee, but a little harder to catch. The one from 6-inch kami flies good too but it's not as stable flying as the one from printer paper and does fly as far. I haven't tried 10-inch kami... if you (or others) do let me know how it goes. I would love to see some demo videos of this model.

Lego Crafters I get it directly from Aitoh paper company, but that's because I have a resale license. They only sell wholesale, but a lot of other stores sell it retail. And you can find Aitoh paper and similar paper on the internet on ebay or amazon.
