The fact that your content isn´t a deep dive with detailed breakdown of every gameplay detail and explanation of every level that would put walktrhoughs to shame while explaining details of the Story that one of the writers scribbled on a piece of toilet paper while in a Six Flags Park that you would only know of if you happened to be in line behind him is the main reason why I enjoy these Videos so much. Please don´t change the style of content unless you truly want to do it for one reason or another.
As someone who DOES spend countless hours making those in-depth, hour-plus videos with my own music...I fucking love these videos. I love that they're straightforward and digestible, and the music selection is mint. I used to be OBSESSED with extreme sports and their associated games, and these retrospectives tap into a weirdly nostalgic part of my psyche that I had almost forgotten about. They've been like comfort food for me over the last few months. Keep it going.

I'm still early in the video, which is good so far, but I just had a thought there's not much that really unsettles me but Open water in PS2 era games does for some reason. Not real fear but definite discomfort watching that Garcia footage.
the world is generally often weird in what it wants out of people. speaking of extreme sports games though, if you're interested in scooter games there's a scooter game that's sponsored by Crayola of all things, called Crayola Scoot. There's 2 actually good recent scooter games too, Scoot, and ScooterFlow. Street Uni X on the other hand is a new unicycle game with intentional PS1 graphics, much like Bloodborne Kart. I've been in a recurring extreme sports rabbithole of my own for a time now. I could never get out of it but it just always feel comfy whenever I fall in it, I just hope I can do something productive with that.
I feel like such an ass for mentioning it, but ya missed Kelly Slaters Pro Surfer!! I had such a fun time with it as a kid and id love to see what you think of it, if you have time to review it! 💞

@@RedBerylFTW Definitely. I liked "Super Paper Mario", despite not having the gameplay of TTYD on GameCube. The 3DS game was when I lost interest in the series. Now that a remake of TTYD is coming out, I'm hopeful about its future, as annoying as it is to spend 20 years of my pathetic short life getting there. 😂

I might just try that Transworld Surf game. It looks like it really does surfboarding as a videogame a favor. usually surfboarding to me looked like one of the least conducive extreme sports to turn into a videogame mainly because it's hard to imagine playing on a level of pure water.
I played mostly Tony Hawk's Pro Skater but also played a lot of other extreme sports games from that time. Transworld Surf on Xbox was my favorite surfing game and one of my favorite extreme sports games period. I loved the multiple waves and more open enviroments.
