We just stayed at the Allstar, two weeks ago. We did request a room that was closer to buses- perfect! The quiet pool is awesome, lots of seating and towels. Oh! The dining is amazing as well- we even planned a dinner on site. We were disappointed that the rooms have yet to be updated, we understand that this is happening albeit really slowly- our room DID NOT HAVE USB PORTS.... be prepared for that... and that is really my only issue. We have always chosen to stay in an Allstar property, cuz we aren’t at Disney to hang out in the hotel - we need a comfortabe, clean room- which we got. The Allstar get a bum rap cuz they ain’t fancy- but they are a perfect affordable family friendly property.
I agree with you. I've stayed at Disney hotels in value, moderate, and deluxe levels. While I've loved all of them, I found that when going to moderate and deluxe resort, my friends and I would only use the resort to sleep and shower. We'd have a meal or two and maybe an hour or two in the pool. That makes no sense. If I'm only using the hotel for sleeping/showering and occasionally, swimming and a quick bite, I'll stay at a value. God bless.
An update: the rooms have recently been refurbished, and they now have USB ports!! My fam and I stayed there a couple months ago and it was amaaaaazing
Huey, Louie and Dewey are the nephews. And no, I've never gotten sick from raw cookie dough and we always ate it like that growing up. I wonder how prevalent the salmonella is.
I like how even the railings at All-Star Sports are themed. In Hoops Hotel they’re like the old gym lockers. In Center Court they’re tennis nets and Home Run Hotel has chain link fencing and bunting. Also the fixtures over the front desk look like the old gym light fixtures.

Stayed At the allstars 3-4 times .we love it,not fancy ,basic rooms . Food court is good but we dont eat there anyway except for coffee inthe morning.and I think the transportation (buses) is way better than many other hotels in disney.quick and efficient,20 -30 mins to get to the park you want to get to.
I have that shirt!!!! Love seeing how you styled it with classic polka dot ears and a red lip ❤ Also, I got SUPER sick from raw cookie dough when I was 13. I puked for about 24 straight hours. So fun. Didn't eat cookie dough again until I found the edible version at All Star Sports.

Me and my friends who hate sports are going to WDW in December and we're staying at the All-Stars Sports because that was the cheapest and offered the dining plan lol
Second time we went to Disney, it was the Movies restort--IIRC, it was the Mighty Ducks part. I know that duck mask! 😃 (That said, I also remember the BUZZ blocks, so...maybe that one? 😂) Regardless, as a movie buff, that one's got a special place in my heart. 🎬
Jay Jay all star music is my families favorite resort of all!!!! Pro tip, at the end of the night you can take ANY all star bus back. Music is in the middle, so the walk is not any longer coming from the bus stop at sports or movies!!!
I remember staying there around 2008-ish, not too long after the Wii came out, and they had one by the pool connected to the huge inflatable movie screen! Good times

Last time I went to WDW we stayed at All Star Sports. We actually stayed in the room just above where you filmed your portion of the Tennis Court section with Donald, Huey, Dewie and Louie section. I am quite familiar with that view! I think you actually filmed this one shortly after we left there. Depends on how long it took you to publish this video. But very cool Molly! We had that problem at All Star Sports. You think you have all these food choices, but for lunch half the stations were closed. They were only all open for dinner so just something to take note. You may not have as many choices as you think. And it wasn't low on attendance or anything, there was a whole soccer team and they still didn't open up all the stations for them for lunch.
