I have finished my Christmas themed three ring binder journal. I’m sorry that I didn’t complete more of it on video but I get so nervous about crafting in real time that I end up just doing it and showing you what I’ve done. I am working on that and will try and show you more of my process in the future. So much of this journal has been inspired by Pam VanEe at Pam’s Paper Please. She is such wonderful inspiration! I love what you have done in this Christmas Journal. It is so beautiful and nicely done and the 3 ring binder holds it all so well.

I totally love the idea if using a binder for a journal. It would not restrict me as a book does. Because I can add pages and the page sizes can really vary. Your ideas are so inspiring. I have tons of papers, magazines, books, cards, etc... that I could use. Thank you for sharing.❤

Thank you! They are fun to make and like to you said, there are so many possibilities on size and even thickness. I made a couple of them this year and have a video of how I added the binder rings to the book cover if you’re interested. Thank you! I really liked making this journal. Last year I sold my Christmas journals at a local vintage store so I tried again this year. I took 3 down but this is the only one that sold. I’m happy that someone else liked it and took it home! Thanks for watching! 💕

I absolutely love this book. I kinda collect binders but then have a hard time making journals in them. It’s kinda weird. This is so inspiring.. tfs❤ new subbie

OMG! I absolutely love this Christmas journal! I love that you kept all the pages so we could read the story and see the fabulous illustrations! Your pages added to the fun and are spectacular! I spend a lot of time figuring out pages, too, but isn’t that part of the fun of creativity?❤ Your work really inspirers me!

Thank you, Susan! I’ve been getting several comments on this video lately, probably due to the subject matter, but it’s been so long ago that I made this journal I could hardly remember what I did. I watched the video recently and decided to go to the thrift store to try and find another Christmas book similar to it and I found one. Hopefully next year I’ll make another one. TFW ❤️🤗

I like the poem in front and I agree, it doesnt need a tassle. I like the snowflake page with the fussy cut image. Brads with a letter on? I've never seen that. 💜

I can’t remember where those brads came from. I think they were given to me. Generally I scrape the letters off but this time it made sense to leave it. 💕

I had to go back and watch my video to remember what I had made! 😄 It was made from a large children’s book so I’m unsure of the measurements but I feel like I remember taking apart an old three ring binder to use for the spine. If I had to guess, I’d say it was about 11 inches by 9 inches. Thank you so much for commenting on this. It was fun to go back and watch the video. 🥰

Are your pages just regular stock paper or is it fancy paper? I’m new to scrapbooking so I’m trying to figure out if I want to use pocket inserts or just card stock paper

I used various Christmas themed paper packs and they were card stock so nice and sturdy. There was also some stationary here and there. Thank you so much for watching! 💞
