Yogi Adityanath is a selfless leader and successful one at that. His detractors are petty selfish politicians. Yogi can afford to breakaway and form his own party. It seems that BJP has decided to commit harakiri. Not just in UP, all over India. BJP high command is systematically destroying the local leadership everywhere. This is a loss to the cause of Hindus.

I think, fundamentally, UP is too big a state. Splitting it, would create more CM positions to vie for. And it will be good for UP too. The age of monarchy had one big advantage over today - flexible boundaries of a kingdom. Competing heirs could be given a carved out territory, to pacify internal fights. In similar vein, BJP can give some districts to Yogi and some to Maurya, and then based on their performance in state elections, choose the CM.

High Command of BJP is arrogant against Adityanath Yogi. BJP High Command has defeated itself in the UP election, but it is trying to snatch the chair of the CM.
