I remember when Soap Net went away, my mother was saddened because it made Days of Our Lives catch ups harder but my little sister loved it because she got into Disney Junior!
I didn't watch One Tree Hill until it was rerunning on Soap Net (RIP). Sad to see it go. OTH was pretty great although I didn't stay for the time jump seasons. It just didn't look as interesting. And I'm not the biggest Korn fan, especially not as much as Linkin Park, but one scene introduced me to their cover of Word Up which is one of the best covers I ever heard!

I'm really enjoying your videos. You obviously do a lot of research. I'm a big fan of TV shows done back in the late 50's and early 60's. I graduated from high school in 1964 and went straight into the Marine Corps. That ended my TV watching for 8 years...4 in the Corps followed by 4 in college. I married in 1974 and we didn't care much for TV. We were hickers and campers. My job took me overseas sometimes for 3 months at a time. During that time my wife would indulge her soap operas. Please do more videos.

Hi Emily. I recently found your channel, and thought I would say hello and introduce myself. My name is Jason and I am a huge fan of classic TV and other obscure media that has long since been forgotten. I think it is great that someone from your generation shares these same fascinations. I loved your DuMont tribute, and have enjoyed your retrospectives on defunct TV networks. Just curious, are you familiar at all with a channel on YT called Oddity Archive? If not, you should check this channel out. I think you'll find some things you would really like. I also wanted to extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. I think I can understand what you are going through. I sincerely hope that things will start to look up for you very soon. I also hope that sometime soon you will be able to resume production again. We will all patiently be waiting, excited to see what you have planned in the future. One last thing. May I suggest a possible candidate for a future video? I would love to see someone put together a fitting tribute to a long defunct and rather unusual cable channel called WWOR EMI Service. Something to consider anyway. I really like your slow and deliberate cadence. You give the viewer time to soak it all in. I also loved your content. I am a baby boomer and only know what my dad told me about DUMONT. (B.1956.) I also saw your update. If you take to heart negative comments you will not last long in business or in life. You have to be like a 🦆 and shake that shit off. I am an over- sensitive person and believe me, it’s not worth it. I go after these guys who make false statements like ONE MINUTE AGO and put faces of live people and make it seem like they just died. I berate them and file complaints with You Tube. So do your thing girl, the world is full of assholes……. like me.😆P.S. In life you will meet people that just don’t like you whatever you do. AND VISA VERSA!! Oh, it’s pronounced Fios not F. I.O.S. I only know that because that’s what we get( our cable system). Do old tv shoes from the ‘50s and ‘60s. That is all I watch. That was the golden age of television. Even some early ‘70 s. By 1976. Tv was dead.
