As an avid GOLF collector since 2014 I kinda agree. I own 23 tees and I only wear maybe 10 of them. Most being a solid color. Its hard to style a lot of GOLF stuff sue to the fact that you look like an easter egg. However the pants they make are a genuine clothing staple. The GOLF le FLEUR chinos really make outfits pop in the best way
It applies to all branfds: wearing all ítems of the same brand is super corny and makes you look like a cosplayer. Items, specially ones as idiosincratic and recognizable as Golf's should be mixed and match with things from all diferent kinds of clothing, make it actually versátiles, otherwise you are just cosplaying.
Honestly, things that were shown in the look book should at LEAST drop at the Flagship store. Would make it more exclusive I guess but resellers would only benefit. Also the window is kinda bright lol
The sad thing is that golf wang spend at least $5 on a blank shirt and then they through a graphic on it ( which looks cool) but! It cost $40. Like it would make sense if it was a really good material I would pay a lot for something that would last. I love golf but i Would have to pick a brand called teddy fresh over Golf. Just from really good shipping and material for its clothing.

For me, (and I understand that he just wore it and didn't need to release it) one of my favorite, if not my favorite golf piece of all time never released. It's the floral jumpsuit he wore in the acoustic performance he did with Khali uchis on the piano. I think it's so cool and I wish it came out
Looking at the 2014 Spring/Summer book, several pieces were never released, the most notable being the striped Flog Gnaw cat tee, which in the description stated "never coming out due to production complications" With this in mind I take the unreleased items in recent memory being unreleased due to the same reason. Clothing making may seem simple on paper, but it's actually an extremely complicated process, especially when working with all over prints or different types of fabric. I'd like to imagine the brown cowboy jacket had some kind of complication with the fabric dye that made it harder to produce at a mass level and that's why it never released. I may be wrong but that's just my 2 cents
Also I'm not dick riding, I've been collecting GOLF since 2014 but am willing to admit the flaws in the brand, and I agree with a lot of points in this video
The winter 2019 lookbook had one of favorite hoodies in it but it never came out. It was the hoodie with different golf logos all over it, but the unreleased piece I'm the most salty about is the black and pink syndicates that never came out. Wish I had them😓
I've been wanting to get some golf clothing mostly t-shirts but omg everything else besides the t-shirts are so expensive like 120$ for a pair of jeans even 90$ for the pair of the camo cargo shorts I want. But I'm not complaining I'll have enough money to buy a t-shirt at least from my favorite artist.
Tyler is taking advantage of y'all. His shipping rates are probably considerably cheaper, since he does bulk. It's bad enough the prices don't match the materials he uses. Fans needs to hold him accountable with a buying freeze, until he gets his shit together.
