I swear... absolutely nothing. I feel NOTHING. I love my husband VERY much (I am 66, he is 62 we still want sex.. well, HE does!!). I just can't get turned on. I was put on vaginal estrogen for atrophy, but when I told my Dr. that it wasn't working for libido, and she said "Well, there's nothing that can be done about that." I can't wait until she hits menopause. I have thought about finding a gyno who might prescribe hormone replacement therapy, but at my age, I am afraid I will get a lot of "No, you are too old." Is there an age limit on that?
@@ItsMeCheryl1231 That's ridiculous!!!!! 66 is NOT OLD!!! 62 is the new 48 - you don't need your Doc to get HRT - hop online or look around these you tube videos with HRT experts for links to online doc who will give you a questionnaire and telehealth visit - or find another doctor where you live - a female!! and at Whole Foods, Amazon, and Natural Grocers you can buy yam creams for estrogen and lubricants that are not toxic like Honey Pot Also, do you know where the highest incidents of sexually transmitted diseases are - in Florida's Retirement Communities!!! LOL! So retirement age is when you're really supposed to Get Some, girl!! ask for testosterone too - women have it but everyone thinks it's just in men - so 1950s🙄
@@ItsMeCheryl1231 I'm 70- you need testosterone cream compounded for women!! It will give you back that "in love" feeling and so much more!! Please do yourself a favor! You are definitely NOT too old! It also helps your bone density and prevents muscle loss (sarcopenia).
@@pkstiever Thanks! I have been on testosterone in the past, and had great results. I am now taking Addyi, and it seems to be working (Valentines Day was a great 'success for me!'). I am working with an APRN who is very open minded, and she said the medical community is FINALLY getting to where they are starting to prescribe testosterone for women more than in the past. I will definitely be talking to her about that in the future. Hopefully, it will be cheaper than Addyi!
Dr. Hirsch, do you receive commission from your links? I would strongly recommend a disclosure if you receive payments from the products you recommend. You would be legally obligated within a clinical setting but at least ethically so within the Social Media setting Thanks for everything you do. I send SO many patients to your channel!
DHEA seems be extremely helpful for lovey dovey thoughts and dynamite Os. What do you think? There's DHEA vaginal products like Intrarosa, Happy Hoo Hoo, etc.
Are you located in California? I'm 48 and think I'm dealing with perimenopause. Also I learned last year I I was severely iron deficient which causes have me develop severe aniexty. Found out my doctor had not checked my iron 7 long years..😠. Unsure if aniexty is from the after affect of years low iron or perimenpause. Thank you for helping us women stay hormonal healthy 🙏🏽🙌🏽
you need to check out joinmidi.com this is where I will be seeing patients! I have been helping to training all the NP's and its the best place for telemedicine health for women 40+
So glad that I found this video. Unless there are two Dr. Hirsch, she was my doctor in Columbus, Ohio with Ohio State University medical center. She really helped me a lot. She then went to Boston. I’ve since moved to West Virginia three years ago and can’t find any good doctors. NEED HELP BAD!
Skin tags are usually caused by high insulin. Most doctors only check glucose which can be normal, but insulin can be sky high. You can ask for an insulin fasting test.
See a dermatologist? They can freeze them off. My old dermatologist used a little scalpel and cut them off. I liked that better because the skin healed up in no time. This was for skin tags on my neck, though.
This was absolutely necessary info, all of it! I'm 51 and this is what we should know to feel betters women and normalize the issues that the age brings. Thank you.
Need a good woman to have a healthy sex life. 66. Lost my relationships to opioid addicts , induced by doctors back in the 70’s. Many doctors poisoned people, with opioids making them addicts. Not helping there problems. So now they are MIA. Nothing I can do but keep searching. A lot of woman are in trouble for trusting doctors with there health. Taking for granted ,the doctor new what they where doing. Not the case. Many woman will take this drug to there grave. So sad.
@@Anth230 I am seeing. People from 65 to 73. still. Meeting up after there spouses have died. Many have died ,, where on opioid pain medications. Many older people are dieing from using the Ozampic pin for diabetes. Trying to loose weight. Covid is causing a lot of people to get scared. They got all the shots and boosters. Now doctors are giving them medication. Saying they are high risk. Of getting Covid and dying from it. Who do you believe any more. Later.
