@@TheJames2929 Love your videos as I am a palm fan as well and enjoy growing them from seed. Am lucky though as I live in Australia so I don't go to the extent you do in over-wintering your palms - very interesting though 👍 My next goal is to start from seed a couple Aussie species - Foxtail Palm (Wodyetia bifurcata) as there are quite a few here where I live in Brisbane and also Kentia Palm (these are a challenge I have heard to germinate).
Nice! I literally love Washingtonias because of theirs growth rate. I have 4 filiferas and 4 robustas from seeds. They are demons of growth regardless they live in pots!
Im growing a fan palm myself, it just sprouted after a few weeks and im super super excited for whats to come, im not sure if its the same variety of date palm as this one but its definitely growing the same way.
Work James! These look great. I need help with my plant, it has about three leaves right now and I am not sure how to pot the plant. One of the is brown and the other rid starting to wilt, what can I do? How can I pot it?
We have so much Washingtonia in Southern France : that's insane and very cold hardy (my parents' first Washingtonia in Basque Country got a height 5 meters in less than 20 years, and we don't have a tropical climate) ! Currently I'm trying to acclimatize the hybrid Phoenix dactylifera × canariensis and the Cape Verdean endemic Phoenix atlantica, it works very well for the moment : the next big boss to beat will be acclimatizing the Phoenix reclinata. Let's go !
Hanzifcation oh buddy I still will sorry man I keep forgetting I send a whole bunch to other people a few months ago. Just a little busy I have three young kids and I’m not making any money on seeds or anything I’m just doing it for you guys to have them so it’s not like crazy high on my priority list
