Hi sir! First time ko mag comment dito sa inyo pero long time follower of your vlogs. Dito talaga sa US may tunay na work-life balance - in its real essence, hindi sya corporate term lang. Galing kami ni misis sa Abu Dhabi UAE at nurse si misis doon. Usually 2 days off sya tapos change shift pa from night to day or vice versa kaya usually 1 day lang ang tunay na off nya. Minsan lang din sila magka 3 days off. Doon kasi sa hospital nya although 40hrs ang core hrs pero mandatory ang OT. But when we migrated here in the US na-realize nya what she was missing and being deprived with. Now she only work 3 days in a week with 12hrs shift and the rest of the week are restday na - and can still pay the bills. Choice na lang mag OT pag sinipag.
May code team ksi sa ER namin dito sa middle east, at kung kasama ka sa list sa assignment board, alam mo na ang role mo sa code team either Compressor, Airway, Medication, at ang TL / CN usually ang Recorder. So start pa Lang ng duty, Alam mo na . Naka pattern accordingly ang sistema ng ER nsmin sa ER ng John Hopkins Hospital sa Baltimore.
Hi sir i agree super nakakapagod sa ER esp 12 hrs ang shift. I was an ER nurse back in saudi and dubai. Im here in the UK and currently working as theatre nurse/OR nurse.It was a big adjustment (well for me) but super worth it. lAnd waiting for my PD for the Us). Ang layo sa er days ko. But i dint have any regrets at all. Super chill po sa OR 😂 More power to your vlog.
Sayang ang OT kung dalawa kayo nurses at walang dependents at wala rin deductible like mortgage. Lahat ng OT pay mo mapupunta lng sa taxes at the end of the year. Baka magbayad ka pa ng taxes.
