This was the best of the 2005 sci -fi shows that were introduced. Fringe lasted the longest ,dollhouse was cool and gad a couple of seasone ,but threshold had the best plot and written material. Special effects were great for TV. Ans Carla G. What a beautiful women. She had multiple series in the mid 2000. None were successful. To bad. She is a great actress.

Never even heard of this show before today, just one of those things I guess it got by me back then even though I'm a sci-fi buff. I just watched the first three eps and going to continue all night most likely, I'm really digging on this.

This series is barely mentioned in Carla Gicino's bio info, if u Google her yet it's a great showcase of her dramatic talent. This woman is a versatile actress who needs a pivotal role to make the Academy take note of her massive skills as an actress who can keep an audience rivoted & play any character with such realism & depth she literally melts into it. Her portrayal of the role in "Sin City" was unforgettable drama. She was better than great in that part!!! Someone needs to offer Carla Gucino an Oscar worthy role. She definitely deserves it & has the chops to portray a character that's a challenging as possible for any actress to portray, make it entirely special & her own. She deserves an epic role!

Sally Jupiter, Data, Tyrion Lannister, Bobby Cobb, Chuck aka God and Dillon in a sci-fi that is so unbelievable it's golden? Fantastic and I'm sure this is waiting it's turn for cult classic-hood.

I am always terrified seeing children actually firing a weapon.......and worse if its an assault rifle.... Do young children in US military academies really handle live weapons? Just asking out of curiosity!

Pros: excellent cast; some interesting and intelligent scientific/technological points; differences of opinion between characters are not presented as strictly good versus bad, unlike what some thoughtless writers believe is the only way to create conflict. Cons: some of the “witty” quips fall flat: out-of-character, immature, unprofessional. The military school depiction is preposterous -- both in the behavior of the cadets and the, apparently only, adult supervisor. There is discipline, but it is not like boot camp (trust me).

This was great. Such a shame it got cancelled.

I like it. Hope it continues to be entertaining all the way thru. Reminds me of new movie out called Annihilation, Alien DNA alteration via some sort of signal/source. Different kind of Sci Fi for sure.

Sci Fi channel should pick this up with no name actors to keep the costs down .. It was a pretty good series .. I guess the market thought it wouldn’t make money .. Could also do a franchise series of movies .. Pay these actors to come back and do a few movie versions .. Bet they would make money !.

Wow I didn't know this existed it's pretty cool I'm supposed to be going to work and here I am watching this show I understand it wasn't renewed that is very sad it's a really great show probably will end up a cult classic because this is what could happen to us I mean this is what we would do to some other 1st and what a sentient being could be on mars or the moon we just look at it as a rock that we can go build our world on so who what do they care about us we're just another species that they can build their world on if they existed and who says they didn't? And we are the product of it?

The Series Was Awesome But Some Gollyweird Bean Counter Was A Dick about it going more than 13 Episodes. It is truly sad but a fact of the industry, I would bet all of the main characters agent's had really massive pay increases with points in continuing beyond season 1 which easily kills many damn good TV series's. If the actors would get their agent's under control this could easily be rectified but they all want a lifetimes earnings in any 2nd season since for most good roles are few and far between.

okay the kids reaction to opening the door. i honestly think was great. he's in military academy so seeing some "force multipliers" wouldnt be odd at first and he just got up plus was talkin to the lady earlier. its just my opinion really but i do think the military students and general casting is decently done. still wish it'd have gotten foothold or a second season.. and i'm still waiting on that peanut butter... i'm starting to think this was NOT the thing with the peanut butter and milk... if it isnt does anyone happen to know what is lol? . well my journy continues

Great show , great with procedure of the objective but could have used a wee bit more odd or weird alien related occurrences , more CGI .

Only past episode 3 and already this is getting way too complicated. If it is such a dire situation affecting ALL of mankind, then why is it that the yanks are the only ones working on it? It is beginning to border on to the ridiculous - even for a work of fiction. Far too may loose and uncontrollable ends are springing up everywhere, it's as if the writers have lost their courage, or being constrained by the aliens....... Let's see how the next few episodes go, but I'm not holding my breath.
