Awesome thrift scores!!!!! I wanted to see the 2 teapots by the set of 4 avacado desert dishes. Ugh she needs to hurry up with your remote arms. Lol we would all fight over items to see closer. LOVE THE CHINA SET!!!!
I think my favourite was the glass box at 4:35. I am very fond of lusterware also. I congratulate you on your elocution. What you say is always very clear, no need for subtiles ever. However, sometimes there seems to be something wrong with your hands as they do not always grab things I would like to see more closely. To remedy this I am working on a set of remote-control hands in my basement workshop. I Will send them on as soon as they are ready. I'm sure you will love them! This should solve the issue, although your videos might become somewhat longer.
Glad I found you. I've had to downgrade from a big house to an RV. So I have to stop going to thrift shops and garage sales. Watching your vids really helps to scratch my itch to thrift shop.
Th u s m! U just found out what I have the pink Anchor Hocking " platter ! I knew it was something" when I found it yrs ago but didn't know if ntil now exactly what !!...u found the bowl to match .. so pretty .thankx!!.... enjoyed
I love your goodwills in your area it’s like a treasure hunt every time! I love it. Can you show some short videos how to use each piece of beautiful glass Itmes
I need to go thrifting with this guy. I live in a thrifting desert area…. Only one store and it’s kinda sad. I really enjoy his excitement and knowledge.
That glass fruit bowl with the flower frog inside it definitely didn't come as a set but what a unique way to use it. The bowl is the base for a punch bowl/salad bowl but is also used as a fruit bowl by itself. I believe it's Anchor Hocking. I have 2 sets. 2 bases and 2 punch bowls. I love your long videos.
I ran into that gold leaf libby pattern today, but only two pieces, so it was catch and release. I'm on the lookout for a colorful egg dish, love that green one you picked up. I went thrifting for some blue glass plates for a dinner I'm hosting tomorrow, picked up a set without looking at it too closely, turned out to be $70 Murano glass .
Not to toot my own horn but you would love thrifting my cabinets. I have been thrifting and collecting 50+ years. We seem to have similar taste in many items. The past few years I have been gifting my friends and family items they've admired over the years, but they have to promise to use them and not save them like I did. 😅 😂
@@THRIFT4DECORplus My best score was a partial set of my china. At Christmas I had service for 24! My family was blown away that my entire table matched. Though some cups and smaller plates were missing, it didn't affect the wow factor...🍽🎄
I hold my breath each time you pick up a piece to display and discuss...in every video I watch. You are very intentional and careful...love your content. I'm a Thrifter...but only for me and the ones I hold dear! Watching👀🖐🏽
You're not at Goodwill - you're at Nordstrom. (Our Goodwill's never look that organized....😀) That looked like maybe a punch bowl base at 14:33 with the flower frog on top?
I wish my Goodwill and other local thrift stores had the cheaper prices that you experience in yours. I live in Clermont, Florida. Prices are SO high!! And then what makes me so angry is that the Goodwill and the other thrift stores are just GIVEN what they sell!! Ridiculous!!!
I have a question. Because you know your business better than anyone ove watched this far. Do these old pieces from 20s 30s 40s 50s leach lead or other toxins from the glaze glass or mud they are made from. Also is leaded crystal safe to use ....like...serve a fruit salad or a vegetable salad like tabooli or a cucumber sour cream salad? Does it matter wet or dry contents?
