Hi Ladies! I was so happy to see that book by Lisa Tawn Bergren! She does children's books, too! When our daughter was born (she's 18 now!) a friend of ours gave us Ms. Bergren's book, "God Gave Us You." We still have it. It's such a wonderful loving look at how amazing a gift a child is to a couple; and how wonderful the Lord is to create and give that child! I so very much enjoy you ladies and of course, now with Austin, too. He reminds me so much of images I've seen in movies of The Three Musketeers! He looks like he could be one of those French guards!

I could spend DAYS at thrift and antique stores buying cool stuff. Mostly looking for decorative, fired clay planters to put bonsai trees in, most of the time I have to modify the bottoms to anchor the tree. Once in a while I can pick up an entire crate full of them for a few dollars. Any-hoo, thanks for sharing. P.S. ... Katie looks great in anything......just sayin'.

Love salvation army and goodwill,my granddaughter every year has me take her to those stories for her school clothes shopping she loves it. She is 14 now,hope she keeps loving it

your channel popped up , cuz I like guns , hunting , sasquatch etc. Anyway I bought an old Hardware store in Ohio, in 99, and opened an Antique Shop and Carry Out. Jimmy O's Antiques & Carry Out Tiro, Ohio and did that a few years , while raising my daughter Maggie , born Oct. 99. I started out collecting cast iron cookware, pottery n glass ware, silver coins, knives, and Ruger revolvers.

Love thrift stores. Love the video. Corey's smiles make you feel like all will be well despite the crazy world outside. Katie's smiles and gigles reminds you to find joy and play in every moment (love the up-do hair with the sun glasses, by the way -- super chique). Austin's got that manly, but kindly calm that lets you feel like someones quietly on your side. Thank you, guys! So fun to hang out with you three. I love going thrifting and antique shopping too. Corie mentioned that she loves Texas Ware bowls. It made me laugh because every time I see Tipper use her Texas Ware bowl, I say “ I want that bowl” lol. I love hers so much that I had to buy two of them. Lol.

My husband and I were watching your mama cooking breakfast and he mentioned she had a Texasware bowl. My grandma had one when I was a kid(she only had 3 bowls I think, a Texasware, clear Pyrex for beans to go on the table, and a small stainless bowl for beating up eggs. When she passed, my mama got the Tware. Bowl and then found one for my sister and me. Not an expensive bowl, but priceless because of the memories made in her kitchen.

One of my favorite things to do is go thrifting, and a small town is the greatest place to go, and the people you get to meet is awesome. The local people are very friendly, and a treasure to chat with.

I think those gloves are a WWII pattern called "marksmen gloves" made so you could still shoot with gloves on.

Have ya'll ever tried The Cookie Jar in Blairsville?? They have a great buffet! Hope it survived the lockdown. We did wear those kind of jumpers in the 80's. Worse thing about them was that if you wore one out...you had to almost strip naked just to use the bathroom..lol!

Katie, dear...Why don't you buy yourself a suitable apron for your work? You would protect your pretty clothes that way. I love the paintings you all were looking at...really pretty. I have a wooden box like that. My father bought it for me when I was around ten years old..64 years ago. It had candy in it. As I was growing up, I stored my treasures in it, then later on, love letters. :) Now I have my make up in it. I love shopping like you do. Used to do that frequently when I could still get out and about. Thanks for taking us along for the trip.

Lol it's slick here also fell the other night had went to check on the baby goats and bam 😅 landed on back and shoulder. It's funny now I had our little dog with me on a leash. I was laying there and she came stuck her nose under mine lol to see if still alive. We like going to thrift stores. Our house is a house of many families lol. My brother lived in Murphy and always said it was two hours from anything.

This reminds me of going to town with my mom and grandma when I was young. The first town was 10 miles away and it had nothing. So we should go to the town after that, another 30 miles to go shopping. My grandma was always down for anything. Fast food, restaurant, whatever. Thanks for taking us along. Smile.

I always find chairs. I love chairs! I don't have anywhere to put them, but its still one of my favorite things to find.

Almost 20 years ago my husband and I got married at the courthouse and walked to Longhorn Steakhouse and ate burgers for lunch. We don't have Longhorn here anymore, not near us at least.

Love the chicken plate. The box was a candy box. After the candy they would then mostly be used as a jewlery box. Ya'll scored.

My sister and I used to go shopping like that. Brought back memories. I have a little rocking chair like the one in the antique story. They fold up are based on Victorian chairs. I think the tile are trivets for hot plates, etc. I have a tile one that was my grandmother's. Thank you!

Austin is such a gentleman for opening your door Corey. I use to thrift and do yard or estate sales all the time. I always had a specific thing I would look for when I went, mainly because I use to teach preschool and I’d look for books, decorations for my bulletin boards or games for my kids to play. I have found a coat or two for myself when I’ve thrifted. I’m hoping when the weather clears to go thrifting for some flower pots. Y’all found a lot of nice things shopping and thrifting. Anytime you want to know if pants will fit. Button up the waistband throw them over your back and pull the waistband around your neck if the waistband meets the pants will fit.

Makes me remember a time our twins were backing out of our driveway and whichever one was driving clipped a corner of the house..a small mark...when my husband came home (this is a man who wouldn't notice so many things) he noticed the mark right away! He wasn't angry...just told the girls to be more careful.

Had fun watching this vid. We've always loved thrift stores and flea markets. It's sort of like a scavenger hunt. Have found alot of nice decor and clothes over the years. Lol, I'm 71 yrs old and it's kinda a hobby for me, plus I can't see paying full price for clothes that you can find at a thrift.

That was a good day trip. I love thrift stores. You just never know what you will find and that makes it exciting.

I’m a major thrifter and LOVED this whole video! There’s nothing like a day of thrifting with snacks & a meal :). Looks like Austin got danged near a new wardrobe. Ok, those trivets, or giant coasters or whatever they are would find a place on my backsplash behind my counter that I meal prep on so I could look at them often and keep them safe and pretty :). All the books…yay!
