Everytime I go shopping my fur babies are thinking that they have something in the bags for them. I've spoiled them because I do bring them something every time. They deserve to be spoiled because their back story is why I adopted them.
I like "window shopping" while you shop. Love the person's booth with all the halloween so tastefully decorated. I enjoyed this video a lot. That one booth was wayyyyy to crowded and jumbled up. I love to see Tater, he’s a joy to see. They bags that were sent are absolutely wonderful. Our Goodwill quit doing bags also. Lol, I have one bag from Paris my niece brought me and the rest are ALDI shopping bags.😂. Anyway have fantabulous weekend with Chris.😊❤

Speaking of Santa mugs…. Walmart has 3 different ones, sizes in their Christmas area! I was thrilled to find yesterday. They’ll be vintage some day was my exact thought!

Love that you take us along shopping! The woodpecker toothpick holder we used to have on our table when I was a kid. I have been looking for one. The friend gifts are precious. I too have looked at dollar general for those sheep. lol have yet to find one. I’m going to make mine (when and if) like yours. There are five siblings in my family. One of us has been called the black sheep. And that title changed over the years. 😅
Just made a stop at Dollar General yesterday after church. Lo and behold they had 2 of the sheep planters!! I had looked and looked after seeing your initial video. I did think about getting the second one and sending it to you but restrained myself and left it for the next guy. I hope they laugh as hard as I did when I finally found the treasure 😂. I agree that antique stores are my happy place. Years ago I moved away from my sisters. Sometimes I’d go to an antique shop and call my sister while I shopped. It was our favorite thing to do together. I love going shopping with you. I have some great news. Ten years ago I was diagnosed with RA. Then 4 years ago my right calf started hurting which caused me to use a walker or wheelchair. My rheumatologist recommended that I see a neurologist and I did. I had an MRI of my lower back and showed a bulging disc. I had 5 shots in my back 3 days ago. I never had back pain the entire time. And the shots have made the pain go away and I can stand up straight. I’m so excited that I finally found out what was wrong with me.

9:45pm. Not saying anything bad about absolutely anyone b/c it was a beautifully finished piece BUT when she turned it over the bottom wasn’t painted and there was a sticker on it. Bad form. I remember when I first started watching videos, I started with you two and you are still my favorite. Bless you and your family and prayers for your recovery.
The string cat holder at around the 8 minute mark is on my "want" list. I've only seen one in a antique store and I didnt get it. That was 2 months ago and im still kicking myself for not picking it up. Great video!
Forcsome reason an old show will pop up on my screen after the most recent one ends. There doesn't appear to be a reason why one really old one pops up. Anyway, way back when you asked about bottom stems in decorating. They show up at shows here but I don't buy them because it Oregon and we don't grow cotton. I try to keep my decor local or practical. Antiques are OK, but home made decor, I keep local.
I have been on vacation all week in Banner elk meaning, Northwest North Carolina. Checked out some antique shops. They were either over priced or there wasn’t anything there. Guess it happens.
Love your taste. Not so much chippy, worn things. I am a stickler for things to look newer. Even though I like antiques. But, to get to my question. Is I have quit a few Halloween and Christmas antique collections. I do not do ebay. I find it to difficult. I would rather sell some things straight out right. But, I could never get close to what it is worth on classifieds. Do you have any suggestions? Thank You.

To someone who has grown up without halloween I find it so macabre and disgusting. Who would want your home full of death and misery, especially for believers who are admonished to think on beautiful things. Here in NZ Halloween has struggled to take a foothold thanks to goodness.
