I've only been watching u a couple months..I love your work..but I really enjoy your personality...your just funny an kind... an make me smile..thank u
She is wonderful, isn't she? Talent, great personality and pretty. Man, that gal has it all! LOL Glad you found her, she is my all time favorite creator on RU-vid.
Love the soft blue/green with the creamy white wording on the sign and the shelf was perfectly done. The simple transfer with the distressing gave it the perfect 50’s simple (in a great way) shelf. Loved it!! Great job.
Rachel you look so pretty in 🩷🩷. I love the flower sign even though it was so much work. I like that you don't give up. You just keep working on the project until it's beautiful.
Love them all! The shelf was my favorite. My mother had one similar that we called the Whatnot Shelf. I have the perfect little vase’s and plates to display on it. I had never thought of getting a shelf like this before. Great job!
Rachel, loved all of these, especially the milk paint one. That’s unusual for me, because I don’t usually care for milk paint. Thanks for sharing your talents and your wonderful personality! Enjoyed! Good week to you, too.
I like them all. 3rd was my favorite. What would be really near is to see is when a customer purchases #3, if they would be willing to share photos of how they use it and decorate it.
Hi Rachel, loving the shelving unit. BEAUTIFUL ! Been raining cats and dogs here, lol. With a lot of thunder and lightning ⛈️ Like they say…April showers bring May flowers. I don’t mind . Love the sound of rain.
All these projects came out great!!! Love the shelf. I'm not sure about the dark wax if you just wipe it off anyway, it seems like a waste of product. I love the "Welcone" sign...so Springy!!! Great job!! (sorry your machine messed up, but glad your hubby could help.) Have a Happy day!😊🪻🌺🪻
Rachel, love the signs. They are simple but look wonderful. The little shelf unit, my goodness did she turn out pretty. Like Cinderella before the ball and during the ball. Total night and day difference. My favorite was the shelf. Just too pretty to not win. A manageable stash? Say it isn't so! We need to clutter you back up. hehe I just about had a panic attack with you. Mine was because I thought, my word, is she really going to leave it that dark? But whew 😌, you saved it! Now Rachel, we have had some really good weather, do you think it might be time to take Santa down? LOL Just started laughing when I saw him attached to the fence still. Did you have a good Easter after installing the pumpkin patch? Have a really good week my friend and shall see you Fri!
I love making signs - I was sure thankful my hubby was able to get my machine up and running so I could complete these, lol!! And I really love how that shelf came out - even if it did give me a few more grey hairs!! And ah yes, the Santa (and reindeer mind you) probably need to come down off of the fence . . . every time I'm out there I think "I should really grab some scissors and cut those down" but then I get busy and rush back inside and completely forget to go back outside with the scissors, lol! One of these days though!!
that shelf is aDORable!! could you do a comparison of DIY little black dress and the black(ish) one in the new cottage colors? would love to see a simple side by side (plain board?) 🙏🏼
*Hi Rachel❣️💕🌿 Finally had a few minutes to watch your Tuesday video.😊 I like the "twist" you did with your "WELCOME" sign. I have seen a lot of those WELCOME signs made without the "O" before, but all of them either had a coniferous type wreath like you would see at Christmas for the "O" or they used deciduous leaves like laurel or ivy to form the "O"....but YOU USED IVORY PIP BERRY to form your "O", which I have never seen before....and I'm here to tell you* *I L🤍VE IT❣️🤍🌿🍃 My favorite project this time is your Summer Market Sign in the Apothecary and Crinoline colors. It looks so fresh and breezy‼️😍🌱🍃🌿 Your shelf turned out nicely, too, but as you know FOR ME, I would prefer no chips or any distressing...better yet, not painted at all and with the addition of some sort of IOD roses transfers, as that's how I decorate.🌹🌺🌹 I am STILL GLAD WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. LOL‼️❣️🤣🤣🤣 As for your Sweet Pickens Dark Oil Wax, I wouldn't throw the rest of it out, Rachel. It will be perfectly fine to use over any DARK PAINT you need to seal in, like the black or brown tones. What about using it over Little Black Dress, Layered Chocolate, Black Velvet, and maybe even Hey Sailor? Just a thought, so it doesn't go to waste. I believe it will give those colors a richer, aged appearance like vintage paint from back in the day. What do you think? 🤔*
I'm glad you liked my signs - I so enjoy creating them!! :) And yes, that chippy well worn look of the shelf isn't for everyone, lol. But as you said - what a boring place this world would be if we all liked the same things!! :) And I will consider keeping the little bit of dark oil wax - at least for the time being. Thankfully there really isn't much left at this point, and what is there is pretty lumpy, lol. But as you said - I may be able to salvage enough to finish a small project or two with dark paint. :) Good plan!! Thank you!!
