Ok using elastic to take in something that’s too big is honestly smart and looks doable. Especially that first one with the back detail. Might have to try.

thequeenn00b yes! My favorite is a couple inches of elastic in the back of jeans to cinch in the waist. So simple and looks great 🙏🏻

Been seeing a lot of these big fluffy shoulders/sleeves at my favourite stores to window shop, so here's how you can do it yourself on a budget :) and reuse clothes! The blue shirt is typical eastern wear of south asia like Pakistan, India and here it's called Kameez. The flip came out amazing as usual 🌻

When gathering, mark the center before doing double row of stitching to make it center and identical. Using a ruler or rotary cutter and ironing as you go helps, too.
