You’re right: No matter what we do, there’s going to be someone who is critical. We do our best. My wardrobe is about 80% thrifted (garage sales, secondhand stores, etc.). I have to clothe myself, and this is the best way I know how to not be wasteful. I enjoy your videos. You do a great job of showing how to style in unique ways. 😊

The reason i love thrifting is because it let's me gather materials to put together for outfits which is part of my creative life. We technically don't need more than a few clothes to live, but the world would be so much less colorful and interesting if we just wear one or two things every week! You do a great job and i love your taste in clothing!

Is thrifting consuming? Yes, but it is NOT the same as consuming NEW! Regardless of where you buy it, you are still going to buy a similar amount. Thrifting is giving something, that someone would have thrown away, a new life and purpose.
I also always thrift for all seasons! You never know what gem you might find. As a fellow thrift friend I can assure you that this kind of shopping is way better for the environment than just buying new. If I thrift something this must fill a gap in my closet, because I became picky over the years due to overconsumption that I noticed by myself . I think that your videos are unique! My favorite find of yours is the Sezane blouse. ❤

Just discovered your channel! Wow you have amazing taste and give me inspiration for how to style pieces. Keep doing what you are doing! I think thrifting is sustainable and it is ok to shop and enjoy. It is also helping curve fast fashion and giving money to some good programs for charity. I watched the same video and I started to feel bad about my thrifting too! lol Then I realized, ok while some thrift shops may be capitalizing on more people thrifting and charging more but they are hiring more people instead of big corps. Also, people that don’t have resources and need things aren’t looking for the same items we like. I’m a social worker and even items I have a taste for the families I work with don’t buy. They want functionality, blankets, children’s clothing. On our end we can be mindful to take things we will use and not buy them new when possible. We can still enjoy fashion in this fun sustainable way! ❤ Thank you for inspiring that!
