You are so talented! I would definitely bump up your prices for all the time and supplies you use! I want to come shopping at your booth! Loved them all!❤️
Yvonne you're pieces in this video has inspired me to look for windows and shutters. These pieces are beautiful and I love each one. God bless you and Chris.
Oh my goodness. My favorite part if your video was seeing how you expressed your seeing that misspelled wording on that beautiful ironing board. I have had a very troublesome week and could not seen to shake it off. I heard you describe your experience of frustration & I just couldn't stop laughing. Yup, I did a little "metaphorical sanding" of my own & I'm back in the DIY mode. Love all you & Chris did with refashionig those pieces!
Oh.. I feel you. That’s why I share..Het it happens to the best of us. Cry.. pout.. put on the big girl panties.. and go back to work.. lol.. hope that gave you a smile
Who cares whats in or out. Your stuff is so beautiful it will always sell. Man it is so hard to choose I love everything ❤, but if I had to pick just one it would be the wreath and home, then the flowers, I didn't think it would look good in black but it does, its beautiful. I love the welcome signs to. Hahaha I do something like that at least once a week. Sometimes I dont notice at all Kenny will come in and what was you trying to say here, he knows not to just blurt out you messed up. Haha 😄 🤣 You have a wonderful and blessed week.
Yvonne, you are super talented! If you come across another wooden ironing board, I think it would be catchy and cute to put the letters "PRESS ON" on it. I'm so glad I came across your channel! A fan from Tennessee, Pam. 😊
I, way too often, add or subtract a letter on cakes or art. 😅. Everything turned out awesome!!! Great job, as usual! Thanks for keeping your blunders on the film! It makes the rest of us feel like it can happen to ANYONE if it can happen to YOU!
When you paint those items white and then stencil them and pull of the tape, my heart races and I get so excited! Simply beautiful. Great ladders. Makes me want to get in my car and drive to Michigan! I live in Mississippi! Lol
The projects you did in this video-ALL so pretty! I would have a very hard time parting with them! Have you ever shown us a video of your booth where you sell these projects? Love the music in this video!
Absolutely beautiful! I like your take on cottage core more than anyone else's. To me it always looks grandma gaudy. Yours is classic neutral and just beautiful! Thanks for all you do.
I love the the shutters and glass window, along with the framed one with the Home on it. Love the towel ladder and the blanket ladder- I love them all. You always put such care and consideration into all you do- that makes everything more lovable!
I really enjoy all the pieces that you do. And I really love your staging area with the reclaimed wood. I hope you show us your house someday and all the projects that you've done I can just imagine how precious your home looks.
I was just watching Desert DIY and she did some cottagecore. For those of us who actually live in farmhouses, I can’t imagine farmhouse going completely out of favor.
Hi Yvonne....wonderful job with all the projects! I think you hit the cottage core vibe....I’m still trying to figure out what it is lol😂🤣 I think quotes are nice but I don’t like a lot of them....some people label everything in their home...I laugh and say I think we know what that is....I have a question for you...I learned about Star Bond glue from you....I bought it and love it...for the life of me I can’t remember what you stick the tip in to keep it from crusting up! As always thank you for sharing your wonderful talent😊kim
Lol.. Kim I’m not sure what cottage is really either.. kinda matches what I already do.. 🥴 yes a little label and words go along way. Vaseline is what we use😉
I love learning about Cottagecore! I survived the farmhouse of the 80's and am getting a little of some aspects of 21st century farmhouse. Thanks for showing us some good ideas!
I too, am watching a year later, but it is refreshing to watch someone do these crafts with such care and attention to detail. I am not a black and white decorator, but all your projects still give me ideas.
Hi Yvonne ! Love how people take cabinet doors and make them into something fabulous !!! Love those ! I think it was a GOOD “boo boo” with the Weclome … I LOVE THE WOOD TONE MUCH BETTER…. Although it was more work…looks really nice in that tone 👍 How cute the red ladder turned out. Those homemade pieces are usually much more interesting because of the details. Oh that cutting board! And what a great tip to use the watered down wax then the full strength. Great tip! Will I remember…🤷♀️…LOL probably not! Hard to believe August is over !!! Kids back to school … we have one granddaughter who started college last week and 2 little ones starting Pre-K next week! Hugs to you! 💛💛💛🍁🍁🍁💛💛💛
Great job again. I don’t think I ever saw you distress anything with an electric sander. Most people go overboard doing that. You did a great job, those were some large projects.
Love everything you do. Can I offer one suggestion? When you are wiring a wreath go the opposite direction with the floral wire. That way you don't have to lift up the florals to try to get the wire under them. Learned that from Garden Answer. Again I really enjoy your videos!!
Lovely projects, as always. As I was going through my staging warehouse today, I was explaining to my maker how we were going to “GingerChick” done of our metal wall pieces to update them. (Paint black, seal, paint white, and distress) Also, thanks for the mention. We were finally able to order the brushes, but haven’t received yet! Also, great job on the swirl technique!
You really are inspirering! After I watch one of your videos I can't wait to try one of your ideas! I love that I am learning how to solve so many of the issues I've run into in past projects. Things like dealing with bleed through of old stain. I thought all I could do was keep painting over it and you can imagine what a mess that turns into. Now I seal it first and what a wonderful difference that makes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Keep doing what you love and loving what you do!
Beautiful transformations, as always! I find that full on cottage core is not my thing but would buy and of your pieces to fit into my decor. You always have such a great vision and follow through with skill and attention to detail.
A tip for getting the spackle lid back on tight, when you're done using it. Take a small scraper and run it around the inside top edge and scrape off the top 3/4". Then use your finger to scrape remaining spackle off scraper back into middle of container. 😊
You always have the most beautiful things but I love the black and white and I can't believe how cheap you got that pitcher it is beautiful as a staging piece
Love all of these, so talented 😍 I think my favorite was the window and shutters, simple yet beautiful and I don't really do labels, it's just whatever speaks to me....lol thank you for sharing. Take care 🙂
Great pieces. The cabinet door is my favorite. It is nice to see that some of us amateurs aren't the only ones to make mistakes. It still turned out great.
You can buy stencil vinyl for Cricut it doesn’t take off the paint. Wood is expensive in U.K. too . Love that you show fails not many ppl would. Great items and yet again great prices ❤️😊
I feel like maybe the kitchy farmhouse is waning. Less pigs and cows, more botanical or even plain. Cottage Core means literally cozy. All your things are cozy. And here in the Midwest, the pigs and cows will still be popular for a while. 😀. Thanks again for sharing.
Absolutely loved all the pieces but I really loved the ladders and the piece u stencilled.. I'm definitely going to try and do something similar and thanks so much for sharing the good and the bad bits lol. Not sure I would have been very calm if it had happened to me. But u saved it and it looked amazing. Love yr channel xx
I love them all especially the blanket ladders. I bought some Durham water putty the other day! Silly but I was so excited to get it 😆. I lived in apt once and painted, by hand, 10 doors with shutters top to bottom. Painful. Enjoy your week!!
I had a really good chuckle with your " WECLOME" boo'boo. Mistakes happen to every- one .I love your work and love that your retail prices are so fair.
I everything came out beautiful!! Especially loved the home sign and would look great as a set with the shutters with them as well. Those ironing boards are also just great, a different flip on those Welcome door leaners and I'm sure we have all done that with our lettering, I know I have. I am very surprised that even after using a paint and primer base paint that you are still having to use that much shellac, but I will keep that in mind as I am refinishing an older piece that the stain looks very orange/red to me, not sure of the type of wood but I'll be painting so I'll make sure I have some shellac on hand in case after priming I still get bleed through.
