Dear dear Selina , you have soooo many of us rooting for you and yes we are so fond of you ! It took me over a year to recover from my hysterectomy and at times I recall just hiding in a corner and crying because I couldn't do the simplest of tasks. Happy happy birthday to your sweet mama. Hugs.

Great to have you back Selena. I was 28 years old when I ended up with a hysterectomy due to a lot of scaring in my uterus. It was a long period of recovery and I definitely feel for you girl. Take good care of yourself.

It is so nice to see you and your Mom out together having fun. She has done a wonderful job in her yard. I admire her. The living room decor was exactly what I had until May 2021 when my home flooded with 17 inches of water. I was devastated because my late husband and I chose it all together. I have not replaced it. I can no longer buy quality furniture at today's prices.

Me again…. I can’t help but agree with your philosophies regarding design and knowing when it feels right and more importantly- the gratitude for healing and good health. I’m probably around your mom’s age, living in a big old house ( like you) , loving design and gardening- which is why I’m such a fan. So far my husband and I can manage our big ole house and yard but I know there will come that time. We are in our late sixties and biding our time and are mentally preparing for the inevitable. By the grace of God - we’re all going to age and have to accept the limitations that come with it. But your mom’s place looks great!!! As if she’s been there far longer- so cozy and lived in. Selina! Thank you so much for sharing your very personal story with all of us. We women need to talk about our female bodies and support each other and advocate for one another like you have been. I have a 22 year old profoundly disabled, non-verbal daughter and thanks to you sharing your story, I FINALLY insisted on having her seen by a OB-GYN. Thankfully everything is normal 🙏🏽 but I was “that Mom” throughout all the procedures and testing and will continue to advocate for her, myself and all women when it comes to our health. So, again, THANK YOU! 💗

So happy to see you again! To see you up and looking well. I learned a lot from your last video. I had a hysterectomy in 2004 because I had pre cancerous cells. Which had become cancer two weeks later when biopsies from the surgery were done. But…. They never told me that it was so much more that they took out. Thank you for explaining the growths and such. I now work in the medical field so I understood now. Then they just dumbed it down and told me when they were removing my staples. One thing that helped was my cat kept laying on my stomach and purring. My mom told me cats are healers. And honestly it really did help the healing a lot. Take care💫 You’ve been missed!

Girl, it's great seeing you out and about just 4 weeks post-op. I didn't leave the house or bed for 8 weeks after my hysterectomy. I was recovering nicely but really took my time healing physically and emotionally.

I often think that my mom and I would have loved thrift shopping together. When I was younger, I would go with her to rummage sales. I didn't appreciate her finds, I just thought it was junk...now I know better. I hope you continue to heal. Looking forward to your fall finds.
