But people stay stuck with the association with Cubic zirconia or that a blue zircon is a blue topaz..your correct people see the word zircon an they assume its a cubic zirconia beyond fake stone.. still.missing my 3 carat natural blue zircon pendant. it was in the tote of Jewelry that was stolen in 2013 while preparing to move here to Oregon the pendant was givin to me by my great aunt Vera it was her birthday stone too

Blue zircon is my birthstone and they're absolutely my favorite precious gem, so I already knew this video was going to be like a big chocolate cake for dessert! Thank you! I can’t wait to look into Zircon! I did wonder about it. You almost mentioned where it is on Moh’s’ hardness scale but I can look that up easily enough. Boy, natural Aqua Marine, not color treated, is my favorite after diamonds, but you’ve really got me with the several color flashes in that stone!! I’ve read that Spinel can have several colors and that can mean it is valuable, but I’m not sure if this is a marketing scheme to drive up prices or not. So interesting! Thank you so much, Jason. ❤
