Hey friends, I have a collective thrift haul from this month to share. I went to 2 different Fur Kids Locations. I love those thrift stores. I also went to my favorite large thrift store, Southern Thrift Market. We found lots of good stuff for great deals.

I don't understand the "experts" giving advice on the way people live, shop, cook, eat, etc. Your family seems to be happy, loving, and close. Ignore the uncalled for advice. Love your channel. 😊

Great haul! It makes me so happy to see the kids love for books! We love books here at our house too! I have always said that I will never tell Jackson "no" about getting a book 😊 And just like others have said on here, just ignore any negative nancys trying to tell you what to do. Just keep living your best life! All I know is, you have inspired me in many ways and I am so proud to call you friend 💜

You're such a good mom, Taylor. I love all the educational materials you get for your kids. I grew up in the 90s/2000s and I remember the Brain Quest cards. My mom would buy them for me and bring them on trips to keep me occupied. I will have to find some for my daughter!

I love seeing your thrift hauls! It's so smart to thrift things you'll use for homeschooling, and you tend to find some great materials, too. The I Survived and Warrior series are both very popular at the library where I work. The Warrior series is massive, it's several series within the series, and the characters are all cats. We actually have several adults and kids reading those books at my library. I love the Hellfire shirt, I'm a big Stranger Things fan too. Such a good show.

Let these people live in their bare and cold looking houses. You have home that you actually live in and love your family in so I wouldn’t worry too much about what anyone else says. Just keep being you. I’ve been a subscriber for several years now and I love the fact that you haven’t changed your way of doing things. I love your thrift finds! Thrifting is one of my favorite things to do. I’m a collector of too many things 😂😂! I collect books, movies, tea cups and tea pots, and especially nutcrackers! I have some amazing nutcrackers… I have all the Alice in Wonderland characters except for the Cheshire Cat special ones… so keep on collecting and never apologize for doing it!! ❤❤ have a great weekend!

I always forget too! My goal is to get all our books scanned into an app called libib. Then I can easily check if we own it. I've done that with our movies and it's been so helpful. We just own a lot more books so the task of scanning them all in is overwhelming

I am horrible at getting rid of books and games. We have a place that buys them and you get a credit to buy other things so I made myself take some books that weren’t favorites to get something we would use and downsize. Our bookcases are overflowing but we love books so it is hard to get rid of any. Not everyone wants to be a minimalist and we certainly aren’t but we need to go through some things and love to do buy nothing because we give away things we don’t need and get things others don’t need.

By the way, I have so many books I could open a book store and coffee and donuts 😊 I love everything about books, I have "The Great Gasby" and it's moldy and everything. I could never give away, my Shakespeare, The Bronte Sisters and my favorite "Emily Dickerson!! And I tell myself to stop buying books, but it's my vice and it keeps my 61yr old brain sharp and happy 😊

I had forgotten about it until I saw your book. I thought it was great how you reasoned that playing an easy game is a good way to boost your kids’ confidence.👍🏽😎 Thanks for sharing as always. 🤗💕

I'm not sure if you know but dollar tree usually has TONS of dvds for $1.25 . I live in FL and have a portable dvd player in my hurricane kit ( cuz when there's no power kids get bored ) and you find some really good titles .

i don't want to be a naysayer or negative nellie but life is short and it flies by. Hindsight is a real thing. All any of us can do at the time is our best with what we know at the time while things evolve and change around us, not always for the better, much of it bs these days. Take a breath. Step back. Do what you can and deal with what you can see and many a thing you won't see until you are older as life just has to be handled in some years. It changes, but it also does not change in some respects, plus it changes around you, rapidly. It is a crap shoot. Just do your best, honest to God there is not imo much more you can do than that.
