Like many people commenting here, I miss thrifting. But hubby has stage 4 lung cancer and I am not willing to take a chance. We can wait until it's safe. The items you got yesterday are so awesome! I am glad you were able to go safely and can enjoy a bit of normalcy.

Attach a wooden yardstick to side of your painting table! Measuring by Zebs arm is fun but having something right there should help! Exciting thrift stores open! Not here in NY, but our situation numbers and ongoing cases needs more caution. Blessed and safe days!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the barn picture 😍 So glad you got to go thrifting. I'm in Michigan been on stay-at-home since March 23rd. And it's just been extended till May 28th. Nothing is open here. Only essential businesses. And I feel like a thrift store should be 😉😉 Love your videos.

Hi Jami, the large wood bowl and small bowls are a salad set and expensive. Don't paint unless your going to just sell separate. But check the price of the salad sets.

We are still locked up tight here in VA. 2 more months. Some shops can open with strict limits. Restaurants are too limited to help much. Surely do miss my thrift shopping. Am trying to be patient here. LOVE preowned. I think new windows are worth the money.

Hi be careful with antique Pewter with cutlery etc as they would use an high amount of lead, but vintage should be ok as it’s not very old and it was law to take the lead content out of it when making item

Diane Victorian Shabby Shop it doesn’t really. When you have 1000 people talking sometimes you just can’t answer them all. Plus you have to finish your thought on what your doing. So some questions just don’t get answered. Kaitlynn will usually answer questions in comments for us if she can keep up. But they can always pm on Facebook us or email if their questions don’t get answered

hwy138 I have never been one to complain when I get sick. They can keep it closed for 6 months and people will still get sick when they come out. Likely we will see a second round in the fall. That’s how viruses work. We had swine flu 11 years ago, we didn’t complain then either.

I'm sort of sad to see the days of make it with what you already have days ending. I saw people drawing the deepest from their creative talents during this close down time than I ever have. It's heading back to the give it a lick of paint and call it good. A little heartbreaking to be honest.

Zoe Emiko we have always painted stuff. It’s how we make what others toss aside turn in to valuable home decor that they actually use. So I don’t think it’s heart breaking. We update it and give it new life. If someone wants to strip it in the future the wood will still be there. And we use paint that can be striped off without damaging the wood ❤️
