I must say it is so frustrating when you find a piece that you love bit try it on and the fabric is itchy or very uncomfortable....the equivalent of finding shoes in the wrong size that you love!! The prices there are more than great!!! A leather jacket for under $10!! Unbelievable!! Wow!!
Omg that leather jacket made the whole trip worth it imo! ❤ I’ve been to that AmVet, ya really have to dig and dig in order to find something, but the prices are great and leather finds are always worth it! I just picked up a similar jacket for $20 at goodwill (which is still a great price to me) so I was screaming at the $8.95 price point, how amazing 🎉

You style each piece so well that it looks expensive and in no way tacky, ordinary or cheapish. You could also style up the beige utility Sacks 5th Ave vest with that satiny stripe sheer button down shirt underneath, a pair of brown faux leather leggings and knee high boots. And for the black button down dress you could also wear a southwest bolo tie or a nice gold broche in the center of the collar to make a cowgirl chic statement! 😉

Above the racks and at the end where mirrors are, because most people try things on and don't put them back. I've found some of the best things doing that. I'm a thrifter from as young as child, I'm over 65 now and I get the majority of my wardrobe comes from thrift stores.
Aww I lived in Long Brach a lifetime ago and I remember shopping here. Prices were great back then. BUT I HATED that they staple tags on the clothes. So many beautiful silk items ruined by those darn staples!

Great finds- how do you clean your leather goods? I can’t shake the feeling that they’re “contaminated” unless I AT LEAST wipe them down… EDIT- P.S. just saw how leather blazer dropped off at Dry Cleaners- they use TOXIC CHEMICALS and dunno what they’re doin with leather- if goin that route need a leather “specialist”.
