I think the fact that there's only one of the wooden candlesticks makes it so much more unique. Sometimes one of something is a much stronger statement. Good haul!

As a new subscriber, I'm annoyed that RU-vid didn't allow me to find you earlier! I'm enjoying your videos and your style which is reminiscent of my own. Anyway, I'm glad that you took us shopping with you in this video because I enjoy seeing the treasures that other cities have to offer. Whenever my husband and I plan to visit different cities or states, I always compile a list of antique and thrift stores beforehand, for me to visit while we're there.

OMG, I couldn't believe the prices, USA is expensive, you could come to Australia & fill a container & ship it back home for those prices xx

These are Ocean Beach prices. Here in the Midwest we have tons of second hand stores that just about give you stuff. We have a lot of old people passing and the kids and grandkids don’t want the old furniture, so they donate it or sell it cheap just to get rid of it. A lot of hobbyists upscale it to fit the more modern home. So those prices are not typical for the rest of the country. There are some people on RU-vid that specialize in repair and refinishing old furniture if you want to check that out…

New subbie here. Just finished watching your fall table decor. AND LOVED IT TO PIECES 💖 I have Always loved Midcentury Modern. Even before this style was given the name. 70's baby here. And Army brat. So my parents had all kinds of style. Anyhoo, I hate that people are becoming aware of Midcentury Modern, as I am noticing a rise in prices for these finds. I have a feeling people will be moving on from BOHO and mixing in MM. Either way I just love how we have very similar tastes. I subbed today. Love love love what I'm seeing already. I will now live vicariously through you. Since I live in a studio and have no more room to buy more beautiful things. But I am happy with what I already have. Enjoy yourself.

Love the picture frame🧡 What would u use to clean it up? Is there a way to get the water marks off without damaging it?

So apparently something called art gum or removing putty -- something like that. People in museums use it. After getting this frame, I did a deep dive and the items for removing it seemed hard to come by and expensive so I put it on the back burner and considered dying the linen or bleaching it.. but then we had to move so I forgot about it! Will definitely return to this in the future and document the process haha
